One Change – Captain Jamaal Lascelles Back In Place Of Fernandez

Rafa Benitez has just announced his team to play Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium starting at 8:00pm tonight.

It will be a really tough game tonight but we hope we can take something out of this game.

Rafa has made just one change with the fit-again captain Jamaal Lascelles returning in central defense and Fernandez is on the bench.

We had thought it could have been an unchanged side but Jamaal is back.

Jamaal Lascelles – back from knee injury to lead the team tonight in north London

Mo Diame also keeps his place in the starting eleven in central midfield.

Only a little more than one in four fans think we can get the win tonight.

playing diame & hayden might be a bit too negative…without torreira arsenal might have a bit of a soft midfield though, especially with ozil playing #10

Where’s Atsu, thought he’d at least be on the bench and I’d rather see our other Spaniard than Kenedy.

Ouch Tinman, howay, not haway. A little slip like that will have you being accused of being a mackem mate!! 🙂

Defensive midfield, but under the circumstances understandable. If we can stay in this until 15-20 minutes from the end he might make a change and bring on Jonjo to go for the win.
That’s me for the night, can’t be doing with the negativity from the usual suspects of things don’t go to plan. Hard to watch and type anyway, usually miss something when I look at the keyboard. 🙂 Like to give the game my 100% commitment.

Munster, once a mackem chav, always a mackem chav mate. Money makes you rich, it can’t buy you class… or even basic respectability. He’ll always be a lowlife POS.

I thought Rondon and Almiron would have been on the bench but its good to see them start as I think our front 3 can cause them problems!

Hayden and Diame were excellent in the first 45 against Bournemouth should hopefully be more of the same and then we can counter Arsenal !

Looking forward to it should be a good game!

Andy Cole. Andy Cole, Andy Andy Cole, he gets the ball and scores a goal, Andy Andy Cole!!! Oh the memories eh? 🙂 Still, looking forward now, not backwards. Love to see Miggy get a goal tonight. Not bothered if he doesn’t, just as long as he creates trouble for their defence. That first goal will come eventually and then he’ll score a good few for us. He’s definitely added a completely new dimension to the attack.
Right, here they come, time to go. Enjoy the game lads, Howay the Toon, onwards and upwards!!
