Video – An Accurate And Detailed Review Of Rafa’s Tactics At Newcastle

Here is an excellent video provided by Tifo Football on their YouTube channel.

This is a detailed look into how Rafa has Newcastle playing.

It’s certainly worth a look and it was written and narrated by Alex Stewart.

The only thing that’s wrong is where is Rafa’s black and white striped tie and his Newcastle lapel badge?

Dont move to the coast, it’s a retirement home for the unimaginative!

LOL Panda – that made me chuckle. Sadly (and I mean that sincerely), all the oldies round us keep shuffling off and young uns moving in. It’s getting to the point where I’ll be one of the oldies on our street.

Funnily enough, I shared this link last week. It’s a quality video, though I do think some of the stats he uses to analyse our tactics are affected by our tactics from earlier in the season. So, the possession stats are well down on where they have been since January or since when Miggy arrived.

So, a little out of date but well worth a watch.

Betty – prime reason to live there lol.

Panda – roger that. I do like Cullercoats but certain parts are like God’s Waiting Room ha ha ha – no offence Rob 🙂

We’ve been abroad too much so not in the UK vibe anymore and being here we can’t get back to check places out. Bit worrying in case pick the wrong location especially as the kids are 11 & 8.

Any advice on areas of NE greatly appreciated.

Panda from previous, it’s an interesting point you make. I’ve wondered myself, if Rafa’s budget is bigger then will Rondon still be his number one target?

Then you think he’d be a good back-up to a more expensive signing. He’s never let us down, shown moments of brilliance but is he the right player to be our first choice if we do show ambition?

Then you wonder if he would actually be happy being the back-up striker. I’m not sure that he would, honestly.

It’s a decision for Rafa, for sure. I just hope the fat one allows him to make these decisions then backs him in the market.

    The coast.

My mates have been trying to get me to move down for years, it’s full of couples and cougars.
It’s alright on a sunny day but I prefer the town centre.

    Rob

Theres lots to consider if Rafa stays, if he gets a budget I doubt anyone is guaranteed a place.

Theres quite a few need upgrading if we can move them on, if Rafa stays I see a very interesting window ahead, ins and outs.

If I were to move to the coast I’d go to North Shields fish quay, some cracking breweries pubs and place for food.

Just far enough away from the blue rinse brigade.

Rob & Panda – I can’t see Rafa getting a mega budget but it would be brilliant to see what he would do with it if it happened.

I’ve got to come back to UK for my last six months in the Army. I would rather keep being posted overseas but after 24 years I’m timing out unfortunately.
Real world decisions of choosing where to live is scary ha ha.

    Cheers.

Brighton, to far south for me, anywhere north or abroad and I’m happy, south of the Tyne and I get a rash.

Asi Fish it’s always worth considering renting for six months while you decide where you want to be full time.

Also think about schools carefully. North Shields (including cullercoats) has a 2 tier system, Whitley bay (including monkseaton) has a three. A three tier system would mean both of your kids could end up having to move school within one to two years depending on when their birthdays fall.

Most schools around me are pretty good. My wife teaches in monkseaton and she’s been really happy with our kids’ schools also closer to home

Can’t do without Rondon. In my view we’re a one-man team and he’s the man: irreplaceable at the moment. It would be the absolute height of folly not to secure his permanent transfer- not really saying the owner is incapable of the height of folly, but SURELY, since everybody thinks Rondon is a sticking point fo r Rafa……….

Here are the fixtures for the teams at the wrong end of the table:-

    Fixtures:-

Crystal Palace: 7 games left 36 Points
Home 3:- Man City Everton Bournemouth.
Away 4:- Spurs Newcastle Arsenal Cardiff

Newcastle United: 6 games left 35 points -11
Home 3:- Crystal Palace Southampton Liverpool.
    Away 3:- Leicester Brighton Fulham.

    Brighton: 8 games left 33 Points -11
Home 4:- Cardiff Bournemouth Newcastle Manchester City
Away 4:- Chelsea Tottenham Wolves Arsenal.

    Southampton: 7 games left 33 Points -15
Home 4:- Liverpool Wolves Bournemouth Huddersfield.
Away 3:- Watford Newcastle West Ham.

    Burnley: 6 games left 33 Points -22
Home 3 Cardiff Manchester City Arsenal
    Away 3 Bournemouth Chelsea Everton.

Cardiff City: 7 games left 28 points -31
    Home 2:- Liverpool Crystal Palace
Away 4:- Manchester City:- Burnley Brighton Fulham Manchester United.

I have to say I’m delighted we don’t have Cardiff’s fixtures!

It took a bit of working out so forgive me if there’s an error or two!

Cardiff are like a turd that won’t flush they seem to get results and performances when least expected!!

Should have beat Chelsea but for dodgy refereeing!!

They will play like a wounded animal but kind of hoping City knock the stuffing out of them !

We actually have quite a few teams that we haven’t done that well against under Rafa no guarantees we will beat Palace or Southampton either! Same with Leicester and Brighton we are actually going to need to get the finger out away from home !

So the club only want to pay 12 mill for rondon

Maybe they should is what is rondon worth to us

For me we should just pay it we should recoup most of it by selling gayle
I think if we snooze on this deal some else will snap him up for 16mill
A decent champo striker is 15 mill

Does anybody else have any good ideas as to how we raise the money to buy Rondon? Could we tar and feather Ashley and parade him around Newcastle while asking for donations? It could be a real money maker!
