Newcastle About Average In Fees Paid Out To Agents During Last Year

Agents’ fees paid by clubs during transfers for the last year from February 1, 2018, through January 31, 2019, have been released.

And agents are getting rich off the backs of transferring some of their clients for ridiculously high agent fees.

Newcastle are about in the middle of the list in 12th place, and we paid just short of £9M to agents compared with £43.7M paid by Liverpool and £24.1M paid by Manchester City

Rafa’s right – the more you spend, the better the chance of winning the league you have.

That may seem obvious, but it shows it’s all about money now in the Premier League.

These fees are massive given the work agents do for each transfer – which is not much.

It’s good money if you can get it.

The Chronicle is reporting that the fees are not only for the six permanent signings, and three players brought in on loan, but also new contracts Newcastle have negotiated with their players from n February 1, 2018, through January 31, 2019.
