Report – Benitez Hires Agency – Interested In Lique 1 Management Job

L’Equipe are reporting that Rafa Benitez has hired a Lyon-based football agency to look for job opportunities in Ligue 1.

The L’Equipe report is that Mr. Benitez is interested in managing in Ligue 1 and he has signed up with the agency until September.

At that time they will have found a job for him in France, or he has signed with another club – possibly Newcastle.

Benitez is reported to have met with Score Agencies management personnel along with his adviser, Richard Green, in Manchester last month.

Rafa Benitez – interested in job opportunities in France

First of all, this report may not be accurate but if it is then Rafa is taking this down to the wire.

And there could be too many things that he just doesn’t like at Newcastle with Mike Ashley still owning the club.

It seems that Jose Mourinho could end up managing in France and Rafa seems to be another world-class manager who may try his luck there.

If this report is accurate, it’s not good news for Newcastle.

Rafa will be asked about the report tomorrow at his press conference, but he’s likely not to want to comment on it.

But if it’s true, it probably means he doesn’t want to keep working for Mike Ashley – the Newcastle owner.

But we’d take the report with a pinch of salt at the moment.

Rafa will start to look elsewhere if he thinks hes getting mucked about !!

He will have back up plans just incase Ashley screws him over looks like Pardew MK2 will be taking us to China for pre season……

Also you can see this as a bargaining tool to show Ashley he’s not bluffing and to get what he wants in assurances from him.

I try to be a optimist lol

Cant blame him if true guys.Ashley should have tied him down way by now and according to sources Mashley wont even pay out for Rondon.
Same old same old and as yet nothing has changed

I think if the books are heavily massaged as they have been for the last few seasons then Ashley is probably going to be coming under serious scrutiny which he won’t like!!

Most people in football could possibly understand not spending too much in the season we got promoted , this season most people are asking what is going on but a 3RD SEASON of stealing the TV money there will be lots more people asking WHERE IS THE MONEY!?!?

If he would come out and say the club now no longer owes me money and Rafa will get a limited budget plus all player sales what would people think about that?

I feel that could very well be the scenario for Rafa or the next manager……..

I’m currently happy in my job but it doesn’t stop me from speaking with recruitment consultants from time to time. It’s a sensible thing to do in case I feel the need to move on.

Save thing here. It’s a non story unless Ashley gets stubborn.

Good on you Rafa. If this is true then Rafa is saying to our beloved leader that he wont’t be messed about with.
