Strong Sympathy And Support For Florian Lejeune – After More Terrible News

Fans and journalists alike are offering Florian Lejeune both their support and sympathy after it was officially learned what was feared on Saturday afternoon against Crystal Palace  – he suffered another ACL injury – this time to his left knee.

That’s two ACL injuries for the 27-year-old Frenchman in a short nine months, but he’ll get all the support in the world from Newcastle fans for the next several months.

And thanks to massive improvements in medical surgery, recovery and rehabilitation techniques it’s not the career killer it used to be to footballers decades ago.

Tsunki from earlier, thanks – I couldn’t have imagined a fuller response. Your spellchecker just added a level of mystery.
    😉

Interesting you mention Osgood Schlatters, my daughter has that, it’s something we kind of dismissed as something she would grow out of (she’s 13) but maybe I should pay a bit more attention to. She plays a lot of netball.

    Jib,
Still back tracking, you didn’t have a clue where you were sending him, you could have ruined his night if someone who DID have a clue hadn’t have came on told him. Of course he was looking for the football asking a question like that the night before a game. Why is it Geordie friendly, is it Scouse friendly too, what about Brummies??

    Munster,
Apart from wages what is massive about the job, a perennial relegation battle with zero chance of winning a trophy.

It’s OK Jail it’s taken me ages to work
you out – you have nothing to offer the
blog so snipe at those that do.
    It’s quite sad
A perfect example is a few articles ago
when everyone is reminiscing about NUFC
strike partnerships and you keep chipping in
with wot a howwid cweature that nathty
    Mike Ashley is.

It was like a group of guys sitting around having a good time
chewing the fat – with a mosquito flying around their heads.

Nice picture Jib. Jail wasn’t missed. To answer your question jail, we are attractive because of the money, the crowds, the prem, the TV, the chance for a coach to go up against klopp at Liverpool etc. The clubs International status, the chance to win something. Yes we cud win something. Rafa won’t get a better gig in England and I’ll get Ashley knows that. Leicester was a prime job but they preferred the ex celtic guy.
