Winger Has Missed Out On Big Chance At Newcastle

Last year at this time Robert Kenedy had come in on loan from Chelsea and was dazzling Newcastle fans with his wizardry down the left wing.

The Brazilian has class, and it seemed Rafa Benitez was getting the best out of him in our revival as we finished 10th in the Premier League.

There was excitement in the summer when Rafa managed to get Kennedy on loan for the full season.

But the 23-year-old has been a major disappointment this season and couldn’t get into the 18 man squad for the game at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Kenedy – missed his chance at Newcastle

It seems Kenedy has lost his chance at Newcastle and Rafa has his scouts looking to bring in new wingers over the summer.

It leaves Kenedy’s career very much in limbo, and the best he can hope for is that he is sent out on loan this summer or even sold by Chelsea.

Hs drop in form could be related to family issues with his wife and kids still located in London.

That has to be difficult for a young lad trying to build his career.

And Rafa’s switch to using wing-backs didn’t help Kenedy whose type of wing play is not suited for a 3-5-2 formation.

It’s a real pity because Kenedy has the skills and talent to be a great player.

What do you think?

At the outset it was said any takeover
would be contingent on PL survival.

    We don’t have that yet.

Try to stop being a smartarse and re-read my posted words…..

‘I might just add that Schär’s Swiss and his first language could be any of French, German or Italian.’

Now, look at my words, think about them.… in particular the word ‘could’
Check with Google, it may help you understand the meaning of it?

Is this a bonus fake sale,a kind of extra lie before the usual Summer sale lie
Or is it just starting early this year ?
With it being dragged out longer than Brexit

See we are being linked to Jorge Jesus as our manager if Rafa was to leave…..

    More like Jorge Kinnear!!

I would say he is also another very underrated coach similar to Bielsa and his teams do play attractive football seriously doubt he would come here to have old man Carr pick players for him which would no doubt be the new scenario for our new coach if Rafa leaves….

Personally I still think Carr is in the background somehow, we’ve heard stories of how Rafa is presented with names of players, maybe it’s agents ringing off their own backs but I’ve got a feeling that Carr is still around and will be helping choose the next manager. It was said he had a lot to do with McLaren’s appointment. Knowing Ashley’s luck everytime unrest creeps up no doubt money will be thrown at the right profile players and the new manager will make a half decent fist of it around 12th 15th, there’ll be no cup runs and people will see it as consolidation and the process will continue. The decent investments will be sold leaving the ones that aren’t good enough to be moved on a we’ll be relegated again. Munster can shout and catch can name as many young progressive managers as they want but while Mike Ashley is in charge it’s not going to get better than this.
