Rafa was blunt in his press conference today when he said it’s going to be tough to get something out of the game tomorrow night at Leicester City – a good team.
It’s probably accurate to say that while hopes were sky-high that we could get 3 points in Saturday home game against Crystal Palace – that’s not the case for tomorrow night.
70% of our fans thought we could beat Palace at home, but only 17% believe we can win the King Power Stadium tomorrow night.
Florian Lejeune – he’s comfortable on the ball
Rafa admits they are a good side and he also bemoans losing one of his best players – Florian Lejeune:
“They are a good team and were before Rodgers got there. They have some very good young players, as well as experience with Vardy and Morgan”
“Now they have more confidence and it will be tough for us”
“I was in contact with Lejeune; I have seen him today. The point now is to decide where to have the operation. Normally he will go to Rome.”
“Last time he came back in 4 months, and he is unlucky now. We hope he has a good operation and comes back soon
“When Florian was not playing, we were not doing so well. When he came back, he helped us because he is comfortable on the ball.”
“We can play with 4 or 5 at the back. We can manage, but it is never good to lose such an important player”
“Hopefully 38 points will be enough. But we just have to look to get 3 points in this game, do our job, and then we will see.”
“It is just one game at a time for us”.
“We have Lejeune injured, Longstaff too, and the rest of the players are available.”
Only about one in six fans think we can get the 3 points tomorrow night and be safe in the league.
This could be a perfect time for Newcastle to shock us and have a repeat win at the Foxes – like we did last year at this time.

Comment #2We will be fine though
Sell everyone with any value
Get as many people on loan as possible
Scrape the barrel for what’s left and cross your fingers
So long as were out of the cups and just try and survive we might have enough to buy Debenhams
It’s what footballs all about

Comment #5Let’s just pray 38 points is enough, or else we’re doomed.
