Here’s Our Predicted Starting Eleven Against Southampton

After the last time out at Leicester City when Newcastle kept a clean sheet and won that game 1-0 after the disappointment of the 1-0 home loss to Crystal Palace, it’s hard to see Rafa changing that starting eleven.

So we expect Javier Manquillo to keep his place at left back.

We also expect Newcastle to be on the front foot tomorrow from the first whistle on – we need all 3 points.

Only long-term injured players Florian Lejeune and Sean Longstaff are not fit for this game.

Javier Manquillo – expected to keep his place tomorrow

So here’s the team we expect to start tomorrow – in a 4-3-3 formation – to go all out for the 3 points against the Saints.

Dubravka
Manquillo Schar Lascelles (c) Dummett
Hayden Ki Ritchie
Perez Rondon Almiron

What would your Newcastle starting team be for tomorrow?

It’s important we get the win so we can finish as high up the table as possible – and maximize the money we get from the Premier League.

Close to seven fans in ten think we can win this game.

    NyMag,
I’m not saying he is making decisions but he is very much onboard with what’s happening and will be putting ideas of his own in which our contrary to what Rafa wants.

    toon22 #22 & 23,

How does judicial criticism of the conduct of SD managers affect Ashley’s ownership of NUFC and “constitute the best chance” of us being rid of him? I don’t follow your logic.

You suggested earlier that the due to the increasing cost of the playing squad, consequently the value of the club for any potential buyer will have risen from the price the current owner paid with the loan added, being approximately £250m. This is news to me, do you have any supporting news articles where this case is presented?

Ultimately the investigation is about the HMRCs investigation into the auditor of SD
The same guy who audits MAs accounts

SD made undisclosed payments to his brother

Sports Direct shares are crashing after a financial watchdog announced an investigation into its auditor

    https://www.businessinsider.com/sports-direct-frc-investigation-barlin-delivery-2016-11?r=US&IR=T

If proven MA is in some very hot water, which will put him at odds with the FA rules under fit and proper ownership

    😉

Im betting that the Fa will not allow him to sell the club to one of his goons or a family member either

As he would be the owner by proxy

So when a league club has in the past been sold for one pound, that includes the value of the club?

Your logic does actually scan as being correct, but the fact is that the current value of the NUFC squad has never been mentioned as a justification for the asking price. The increase is purely due to the owner wanting to sell for a £50m profit, no doubt in recognition of his asstute stewardship…..hence no sale.

The problem was that although my horse ‘Trigger’ a retired milk cart horse, was very fast it still wasn’t quick enough for my missus and granddaughter to get to the shops so i had to invest in a planet destroying transport device.

You can’t always be a good guy! 😉

    NY Mag posted:

“However, it makes perfect sense that he (Charmless) would serve his ‘boss’ – if you’re on the promotion trail, that’s the path to follow…..”

On the other hand, he’s the only one of the trio living on Tyneside and right in the front-line if Rafa leaves. So perhaps, out of self-interest, he tries to put Rafa’s case.
