This Is Where We Stand – With Just Two Games To Play

Newcastle are in 13th place in the league at the moment, and of the bottom 10 clubs, only West Ham and Fulham won their games.

If we had won at Brighton, we would have been in 12th place and above Crystal Palace.

That’s three wins in a row at Fulham under Scott Parker as the caretaker manager, and we play them in our final game at Craven Cottage, so that could be more difficult than we think.

Rafa Benitez – Newcastle manager in training

The Liverpool game next Saturday is really a toss-up, but most pundits will go with Liverpool to win.

But we shall see.

Here’s where we stand in the league, and we have one more point than we had last season at this time.

If Perez can not play next week, does Rafa play Clarke as second striker?!

So the highest we could finish is 11th and lowest 16th. Bottom line is we are safe and next thing that needs to be done is to sort Rafa’s contract and MA needs to sell the club like he has stated he wants to without the inflated 300m price tag
