The game against Liverpool will kick off at 7:45 pm on Saturday night and will be broadcast live on TV around the world.
So it’s not just an excellent opportunity for us to get 3 points, but a win would help to put Newcastle back on the football map with such a great win.
Jurgen Klopp and Rafa Benitez
We’re now on 42 points in 13th place, and we finished last season with 44 points and in 10th place.

Comments welcome.
Personal note – I’ve been sick and having some severe problems with my esophagus which is why I’ve been out of action for two days. I have a hiatial hernia.

Comment #16WB Ed, good to see you posting again.
I had a hiatus hernia, probably caused playing rugby, sorted with an operation around 13 years ago. It was a horrible thing to live with (waking up choking on your own stomach juices can never be nice) but can be comfortably treated with drugs for as long as necessary if surgery is not an option.
All the best, take it easy, we’ll entertain ourselves by laughing at the Mackems.

I also have a hiatus hernia (amongst other things) but thankfully it’s controlled my Peptac (Gaviscon) at night and Nexium (Esomeprazole 40mg) in the morning!
Anyway, it’s really good to have you back in harness – You have been missed!
🙂
