Wor Flags Group Have Done Another Excellent Job This Season

Wor Flags have done a great job in the Gallowgate end since they were formed and have created some stunning flags.

They will unfurl a new surfer flag before the game against Liverpool on Saturday night.

Members of the group have brought the flag back from Poland – the biggest ever.

The £15K in costs were paid by donations from the fans.

The Wor Flags group do a lot of great stuff for the club to make the atmosphere electric and to support our team.

All credit goes out to them once again.

Let’s hope we can take it to Liverpool on Saturday night.

The alleged payments are in documents the courts have forced SD to hand over
Im sure as an accountancy expert youll know the importance of that.

    😉

Rafa should leave, Guillem is right
Rafa has given enough to us fans
    The owner has disrespected him
A man of Rafas class deserves better

You might also want to explain why they went to such measures to keep those payments secret
Requiring a change in the law for them to be handed over

You think the HMRC are going to let his one go after all of the effort they have put into this ??

It puts a smile on my face

Which bring me back to why we need the FA to enforce the rules when owners run clubs by proxy, before MA tries it.

    toon22,

At post #9 you said we’ll probably bring in a new manager a month before the window closes….which means July 8th

At post #14 – you say we might get someone in by 1st August.

Do you usually swing you view so radically within the space of a few comments? Or are there more than one person(s) behind your username? 😀

Toon22 the only thing that is blatant is when somebody trips you up you resort to calling them PR instead of answering the question!

As another supposedly Jib alt, one blatantly obvious difference between yourself and Jib I’ve noticed tonight is that he will provide good advice to fellow bloggers and not constantly repeat the same mantra ad nauseum to people who get what you are trying to say whether you believe them or not, mostly not as it happens.

Also I’d love to see your predictions come to pass re. the HMRC side of things but he (like most billionaires) probably have patsies ready to take the hit for him, even if he did get a jail sentence (which I doubt) it would be unlikely to kill his business.

Still we all need a dream, do keep your’s going, you never know.

Your comment that Jib’s provided good advice should cause you to question your judgement. Surely Bill, a man as worldly-wise as you, must have realised by now that Jib plays games to court attention and draw attention to himself. You haven’t fallen for it, or have you?

News flash just in, Mike Ashley has sold the club and Rafa has been given a 5 year deal with 100 million a year for the next 5 seasons. We have also signed Messi pre contract and Salah pre contract for next season.

God, this making up news crap is really, really easy.
Great to see you still alive and kicking Ed, you had us all worried on the blog. Howay Wor Flags!!!

Just read back a few comments and you will see he provided some info for Betty, that’s what i’m referring to in this instance.

Not the first time he’s done it either for others.

Of course Jib provided some info for Betty and what else is that but courting attention to draw attention to himself. QED?

If this is true, another one we missed out on. Never mind though, he’s 27 and far too old for Ashley’s liking – but seemingly not too old for Citeh!

    Morning overnighters.

    Lawro prediction:-

    Newcastle v Liverpool (19:45 BST)

We already know what Newcastle are like, and how difficult they make it when they face the top sides.
When people talk about teams being organised, Newcastle are on that list and that is because they are a well-coached team and Benitez is an extremely good coach.
It is as if every player on all of his teams has always known exactly what their role is, and what is expected of them.
So this will be a tough game for Liverpool, because they will have to break Newcastle down.
It might actually help that they lost 3-0 to Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final, because it means they won’t have one eye on Tuesday’s second leg any more.
It is not as if they got a 1-1 draw at the Nou Camp and will be thinking ‘we’ve got a fantastic chance’.
They will know they are outsiders in that tie now, and they have to focus fully on the Premier League, where any slip by Manchester City will let them in.

    Lawro’s prediction: 0-2

I hope he’s inaccurate but sadly I reckon he could well have hit the nail on the head.

    Micky,

When I read that, it sounded like Lawro was building up for a shock prediction……so was quite surprised by his score line.
The last home game of previous seasons have resulted in some pretty impressive displays / results, so you never know….

You can hang your hat on Rafa Benitez trying to beat Liverpool

“Benitez has played five games against Liverpool as a manager in England and only lost two.” – were both of those with us?

    No….just like that phrase 🙂

I remember two draws with Liverpool under Rafa…..I think it was 2-2 away at the end of the relegation season and 1-1 last season at st James when Joselu fluked one off his shin (if I remember rightly, that was the game when Amanda Staveley first turned up)….could be wrong of course (no googling involved)
