Fabian Schar – We’ll Do Everything For A Good Result

Fabian Schar has been one of our best players this season, and he will be an important player for us in our final home game tonight when we play second top Liverpool.

Liverpool are a point behind Manchester City with a poorer goal difference, and if City wins their last two games, there’s nothing Liverpool can do about it.

Fabian Schar – an important player for us tonight

They need to win their final two games including the game tonight at Newcastle.

Here’s what Fabian has said about the game tonight:

“We’ll see what happens,”

“We will try to get a result. We’re just looking for our result. We want to get some points.”

“We’ll do everything in this game. We want to win all our games. This is our last home game.”

“This is the only thing we’re looking for – the rest is not in our hands.”

“Clearly it’s going to be a really tough game. We have to be perfect to get something.”

“That’s what we’re looking for.”

“We want to win games. We’ll do everything for a good result.”

    We
Bishop and I discussed trolling the Mag
He spat out his coffee and said
“That piece of irrelevant shite – you are joking !”

If we achieve 48 points what an achievement that would be. Mind I’d be happy with a draw tonight.

A massive congratulations to the U23s, although I couldn’t watch the actual game (no links) the sites that were providing up to date info made it a tense nail biting run in. To equalise in the dying seconds of ET when all seemed lost was brilliant and to watch the pens results slowly coming up was nerve racking. The lads prevailed though and now have two tough games next week as a finale to their season and the best of luck to them.

When does next seasons fixture list come out, as an early starter I’m predicting that our 1st 6 games will be, ManC, Liverpool, Spurs, Chelsea, Arsenal and ManU.

Spare a thought for Atlanta in the MLS who for some reason have played all of their games away this season.

Dunno, but I do watch the MLS highlights show and it has been mentioned on there. I’d assume it’s something to do with their stadium being closed, or I may have misheard the info. but I don’t think so.

I’m glad Rafa is sounding positive but it’s not him we have to convince, I’m not sure if it will help singing “you fat greedy bastid get out of our club tonight, but we probably will anyway”.

Sorry wrong info It’s Portland Timbers who have played their first 12 games on the road, don’t think it’s their stadium at fault just some strange fixture arranging.

Jail it’s always a good idea to sing your heart out
It hides the fact you haven’t got a clue what’s happening
    on the pitch

    Jiblets,
What with Lpool favouring a 3-2-1-2-2 when they play away on a Saturday evening in their purple kits there should be fireworks on the right if Atsu plays on the left, I hope that helps.

Not a bad day lined up but pity about weather. Tour de Yorkshire Womens race through village earlier this morning and caught up finish on TV. Mens race starting soon and also passing through village then may be flip between finish of that and Mackems game at tea time ( hoping they lose ) then for the big one.

Going to be a difficult game as realistically only PL title now for Pool and they will go for it tonight. After the infamous best ever PL game 4-3 hoping we can make a similar but much more positive impact tonight, Have nothng against Pool fans ( great time with them in London after 74 final – 45 years ago today!) but want 3 points.

On Fairs Cup it did start as a “one city one team” competition in early 60’s and I believe there were some combined UK teams earlier before it took off as a premier competition
