Newcastle are said to be interested in signing 20-year-old Coventry midfield star Tom Bayliss this summer.
The Sunday People reported yesterday that the Magpies are one of at least four clubs interested in signing the Coventry player.
Brighton, Leeds, and Middlesbrough are the other clubs said to be interested.
Tom made his breakthrough into the Coventry team last season and has so far has played 74 times for the Sky Blues with 9 goals and 7 assists.
Rafa will be looking in every transfer window for signings he can make of potential top up-and-coming players and the central midfielder is one of those,
The Leicester born playmaker has picked up two caps at the England U19 level.

We should be hearing of Newcastle targets this week when we come to the end f another very top season for Newcastle fans at the club.
Our final game is at Fulham on Sunday, and the search for better players for Newcastle will start in earnest after that game.
What do you think?

Comment #122Currently enjoying twitter going in on Liverpool. Editing the kompany goal with titanic music is subtle but much more sweeter!
And pep discreetly tapping up tielemans lol.
Agent Keleci remains undetected.

Comment #123All Newcastle players on there’s a few dead ones as well. Don’t think they have donated. I think most past and present have been added.

I probably shouldn’t joke about such things – somebody will probably dig that comment up in 4 years time and throw it back at me 🙂

Comment #128The new flag looked fabulous but I read Worflags went over to Poland to get it – presumably because it was cheaper. Is this not the type of thing we call Mike Ashley for? – just saying!

Comment #129Man u and Liverpool are exactly the same, both bought the league for years and cant stand the fact other clubs are now doing the same.
If Liverpool win the league each and every ref shoul get a winners medal.

Comment #134We are also sniffing round Bournemouth’s Scottish
25 year old left winger Ryan Fraser.
The last Sottish international winger we bought from
Bournemouth worked out OK

Comment #135We’ve been on the wrong end of some bad refereeing this season and many seasons before come to think of it. I believe we would not have been given a pen on Saturday night if Atsu hadn’t have scored. Marriner bottled it. He had time to react but did nothing.
Liverpool players were collapsing in a heap with the minimal amount of contact. They either got the decision or twisted if the did not. As for Klopp, he is obnoxious, I cannot stand the bloke. He has no humility and is another Ferguson.

I also used to drink with Ray Ellison, only difference was it was Milk while at North Kenton High School way back when. Did play against him a view times in school training sessions, close as I ever got to tripping him up.

Comment #145Four points behind Catchpole with a game to play. I’d love it if I beat him, a decent score at the weekend and I could get a top half finish, got to be pleased with that in hour first season.

Comment #146Klopp has as much class as the average crowing scouser. At least Pep had a bit of style about him when we lost. I hate managers who can’t lose with dignity or give credit where its due… Mark Hughes, fat Sam, fergie, klopp.
