Crucial That Suitable Loan Spell Is Found For This Future Star

Elias Sorensen has had a break out season for Newcastle this year, albeit not for the first team. Sorensen has been named as one of nine players for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award.

The Danish Under-21 international has had a fantastic season bagging 20 goals. He was playing so well that the club got him a loan spell to League One side Blackpool.

Rather than propelling the budding star up the ladder to the Newcastle first team, this move ended up knocking him back a few steps.

Whether it was a new atmosphere or something to do with the Blackpool manager Terry McPhillips, we are not too sure.

Elias Sorensen – an emerging young star

But the lack of match time at Bloomfield Road was detrimental to the youngster’s development. So much so that the Newcastle hierarchy terminated young Elias’s loan spell in early March.

This disappointing loan spell cost Sorensen the second half of a crucial year in his development.

The 20-year-old is still quite away from the Newcastle first team squad. This summer Newcastle United must make it a priority to find a loan spell that works for this bright talent.

We have seen far too many sterling youngsters in the Newcastle ranks fade away without ever breaking through.

It would be a shame if Sorensen joins those ranks. We hope the club can find a perfect loan match and maybe we’ll have a quality striker to bang in those goals at St James Park.

“Newcastle United’s under-23s will face Everton at Goodison Park in the final of the Premier League Cup on Wednesday night.

“Ben Dawson’s side beat Leeds United last month to book their place in the final and Everton’s 2-0 win over Swansea on Saturday means the game will take place at the Toffees’ home ground on 8th May with a 7pm (BST) kick-off.”

When was the last time one of wor youngsters really blossomed while on loan? There have been quite a few flops but not many successes. Is it just the usual numbers thing, that most youngsters are going to fail to make the final leap? It would be good to see a club by club comparison.

The Antonio Barreca loan was a favour for his agent
Giuseppe Riso cos Rafa fancies one of Riso’s other
clients the number 9 beast Andrea Petagna who despite
playing for the shit team S.P.A.L. (on loan from Atalanta)
has scored 14 Serie A goals.
He turns 24 on the day Rafa’s contract expires and will
be a future Italian international legend

What miracles are going to have to be pulled off this summer to save Ashley having to spend proper amounts of money on incoming? A 20 goal striker for 5M sound likely Ashley? Or are you going all out and planning to spend 10M? We saw what happened with Muto for 9.5M. Is that the example we should be expecting? Better sell up Mikey. The job is too difficult for you.

So yeah turns out the surgery yedlin had yesterday or 2 days ago was for his groin. Didn’t know he needed it but it’s done now.

If it was Lejuene, he’d be doing lunges right now.

He’s actually a really useful striker jib, similar style to rondon. Where’s the link to Rafa wanting him though?

And what would Petagna cost? Nobody gives good strikers away, contrary to what the brilliant AshHole/Chumpley duo might think.

And don’t forget, we would have to pay Petagna a wage as well. Such a brilliant insight from Chumpley that was. Imagine, having to pay decent players decent wages. It should be illegal, right Chumpley? All players should be on zero hour contracts shouldn’t they?

#NUFC are interested in signing 17-year-old attacking midfielder Erkan Eyibil from FSV Mainz.

The “new Mesut Ozil” has scored 5 goals and has 15 assists for Mainz’s reserve side. Aston Villa and West Ham are also in the race. [Turkishfootball]

Apparently only wants to play homes games, hence the ‘new ozil’ tag.

How much does AshHole pay himself by the way? Is it in the zero hour realm? Yes, I imagine it’s somewhere near the minimum wage level. After all it takes a brilliant man to get pissed and puke into a fireplace doesn’t it Mikey?

The next big question for me is will Ashley release enough funds for Rafa to make us a top ten side? That is the only real issue for me. If Ashley’s approach remains the same as it has been, that won’t happen and Rafa will leave. We will then get another manager of questionable quality who will spend all his time trying to save us from relegation season after season. This is a huge opportunity for Ashley but he has to seize it now.

Daughter pressed submit there early for me?… Was trying to say… Game was not agressive by any standards, but even Klopp said he saw Salah hit his head on keepers hip, and keeper was concentrating on the ball. Fairly certain that keeper wasnt Elliot too

Apologies….I just saw that link you put on a few threads back….I checked a few clubs at random and none of them match what each club are stating in their accounts
So, either many clubs are lying or that website is incorrect.
