Fulham 0 Newcastle United 4 – Video Highlights

Rafa Benitez has a way of finishing off the season with a great result.

5-1 at home to Tottenham in 2016, 3-0 at home to Barnsley the next year, 3-0 at home to Chelsea last year and now 4-0 at Fulham.

What were we doing conceding against Spurs?

Newcastle put in one of their best performances of the season to show the professional bunch of players we have under Rafa Benitez.

“Finishing the campaign in sunny mid-table, it was worth remembering Newcastle began with a run of eight defeats and two draws from their first 10 Premier League games (worse form even than Fulham’s) enmeshed in shenanigans and broken promises in the transfer market. Benítez pulled it all together expertly.” (The Observer)

Like you (I think), I read the Rafa-Perez body language as you imagined Rafa’s words – ‘how can you walk away from this’.

Anyway, Perez can’t leave without having his free holiday on Ashley. That being so, he’s nailed on to stay!

The vid of Rondon joking the fans featured a rugby, bald security chap wearing shades……. Has Charnley been moonlighting?

magscar you got that conversation between Rafa and Perez total wrong i’m afraid, he actual said and i quote ” jib’s recommended a couple of Spanish restaurants on the kings road, i think we should try one” 😀

great way to end a season on a high, now lets have the Rafa situation sorted

Alberto Moreno from Liverpool is out of contract this summer. Would he be a good signing for us, what do you people think?

Ole Gunnar is starting to look more and more like David Moyes with every game.
If he stays there until Christmas you won’t be able to tell the difference.

Mea culpa. Bet against my team for the first time in my life. Serves me right, 8 big ones (ie. Euros) down the drain.

Congratulations to the lads. Excellent display. Proud of yous.

Now, let’s consolidate our place as a competitive mid table, never in danger team next year. A Leicester, or an Everton, if you will.

That isn’t asking for too much.

    Year after? CL, of course.
