Report – Newcastle After Dynamic Nigerian Forward

A report from the Sun earlier today says that Newcastle are tracking Spezia Calcio forward David Okereke. The Nigerian U23 international is also linked with a host of Premier League and Serie A clubs.

David Okereke – Being tracked by Newcastle among others

David Okereke’s phenomenal performances this season have propelled Spezia Calcio to the playoffs, though they lost 1-2 today in the Quarterfinals to Cittadella. The pacy twenty-one year old has 10 goals and 12 assists in 30 appearances in Italy’s second tier.

Okereke can play both centrally and on the right wing. This season he has had 15 appearances as a striker, 14 on the right, and one on the left.

The academy product is highly regarded in Italy having been linked with Juventus and both Milan clubs this year. A fee of about €8M would be likely enough for the Nigerian.

This player is a very exciting prospect. However we don’t see him as a replacement for either Rondon or Ayoze Perez, if he were to leave.

Okereke is not suited as a target man if Newcastle uses the same system next year. So as a direct Rondon replacement, this move would not make much sense.

As cover for Ayoze, Okereke could be an intriguing acquisition. He would add some pace currently lacking in the side.

If Newcastle are tracking this player, we hope it is to complement the side and not replace any of its stars. We definitely want Rondon and Ayoze up front for Newcastle next season

Homeplug or plt as it is also called (power line transmission) turns your house into a giant transmitter of RF racket .. causing an RF soup right through the neighbourhood.

It does not effect me as the Ham Bands are notched …the government got that right !

It’s OK though as when your neighbourhood is saturated with them they will eat themselves and your Internet will be compleatly fked.

Bill, Iv got mates who worked for the bbc and worked in pirate radio , radio Caroline, radio Nord Sea international , etc.. mate had burns on his arms and feet off the boat , another working on installations all over Africa and worldwide had many a nasty scare .. once set his boots alight ..

Probably making half of it up but that rf is nasty stuff if you get too close and at higher freqs .

And in the case of low levels of RF with RF on the mains wiring the mains wiring is unshielded and NOT designed to carry RF on it at any level .

Not fit for purpose ..that’s why cat6 and Ethernet are used in new house builds ..shielded and no problems.

In the interests of fair comment read this .

Obviously the dangers of RF are proportional to the distance from the source.

Smart meters are also said to be a health issue ..

    Time will out.

People who sell this plt Homeplug crap will no doubt defend it

In my link it tells you about links to Childhood Leukaemia ..Now to mention that as part of an early study ! it cropped up and raised concern by scientists , so PLT mentioned in the same breath there ..are you going to take the risk ?

When they sell you these home plugs they never mention that the mains wiring they spew their crap into is not designed for purpose and is unshielded.

I’m done. Unless otherwise called .

    Night Bill.

    Ethernet
    Cat 6 . Shielded

Within the link I posted you will see this and a further link

The WHO/International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified radio frequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B), based on an increased risk for glioma, a malignant type of brain cancer1, associated with wireless phone use.

    RobLeenio,
Long term ambition to compete in a cup, I haven’t got time to reply to that but you remind me of a certain TDSarf, at least you didn’t say you can understand why we don’t bother with them as there’s no money in them, oh hang on a minute, surely not?

As for Munster calling jordyjohnty the frog because of his arguments against the owner, bejaysus Munster, know wonder you’ve had it in for our rebellious manager.

    You berk

When the report talks about powerlines it’s referring to those massive cables
carried by pylons across the countryside and sometimes over housing estates

    doh !!!

I have no evidence and no way of proving it
    but
I would guess that apart from the blue side of Manchester
the majority of the country would like to see Watford win.

Online – I’m not familiar with Homeplug so I’ll do some research – I prefer to use 40 years engineering experience than conspiracy theory websites. Also RF is proportional to the square of the distance – big difference to straight proportion!
