It looks like Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan is indeed buying the club because it’s been reported by all the major news outlets like Reuters etc and when that happens it’s usually true.
But fans are likely still to be skeptical but a majority are starting to feel this may be what we’ve been waiting for 12 years after the pain and the woeful ownership of Mike Ashley.
Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan
Once it is publicized and talked about by the Sheikh himself we can all let go and celebrate.
This just feels different. I usually just smile and say “aye whatever”. But theres something about this that feels like its happening!!! #NUFC #NUFCTakeover

I’ve always said I’d be unsure if I’d enjoy it if a sheikh bought #nufc . I dislike all the cash in premier league football when lower leagues struggling. Seeing #nufc win a trophy or even compete again would be a dream but who knows until/if it happens

HOWAY! Don’t mind a little Arab Takeover! ?.. as long as we don’t become a tourist club.. I’m all for it! #nufc

Woke up early like a kid on Christmas morning. Santa hasn’t been yet, go back to bed! #nufc #NUFCTakeover

Refuse to believe the takeover talk until its confirmed officially. After 12 years of Ashley, it feels more believable to think this is the PR cover story to divert attention from Rafa walking… #NUFC

“Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan’s black and white army”
I think we could get used to singing that #nufc #NUFCTakeover— john wilson (@wilsa61) May 27, 2019
Come on @SkySportsNews get that yellow banner flashing with the good #nufc news. @SkySports_Keith anymore news pal

#SAFC loose the playoff final.
Billionaire Arab to buy #NUFC
Ashley then buys #SAFCWhat a weekend that would be!
poetic justice wouldn’t even come close.

Imagine Rafa being given pennies for 3 years then all of a sudden some billionaire takes over. Would be a lucky man! #Nufc

What a bank holiday ….Mackems crying at Wembley again ?? and now rumours that Cashley has sold us to Sheikh Mansoors half brother….if Carlsberg did bank holidays ???? #nufc #NUFCTakeover #bankholiday #carlsberg

To claim the deal is DONE is something we have not heard before. Seems very different and no one is saying it’s untrue yet #nufc

When I see the sports direct signs ripped down, I’ll believe it. #nufc.
— Shane Mawson. (@mawso) May 27, 2019
Wouldn’t be surprised if this was a distraction technique due to the Rafa situation “couldn’t sign Rafa up because we thought we were going to sell” #nufc @MsiDouglas

If you’re going out today, take your phone chargers with you…you’re gonna need them, with all that ‘screen-on’ time! ?#NUFC

The paperwork has been submitted to the Premer League.
We’ve never been at this stage before, even going back to Barry Moat. No one has claimed the deal is done and no one has reported signed paperwork is with the Premier League etc. #NUFC #NUFCTakeover #AshleyOut

Comment #45Am I right in thinking that if this deal does go ahead at £350 it would make it the most expensive British football take over ever?

Ghutrah in black and white seems appropriate.
Northumbrian plaid is one of the oldest traditional cloth used by shepherds ( not the Freddy variety)

How classy it would be for the team and fans to turn up in full regalia like this. ( meanwhile the mackems are spalshing in a fountain )

Northumberland braid/shepherds tartan
I’ve got a kilt made up of the shepherds tartan black and white dog tooth.
Looks dapper!
Worn it a couple of times to the matches
If deal goes through – will have it on for the first home game next season

Comment #49According to Google sources ManU cost Glazer family £800 million. Who cares about that; just hope this goes through so we can compete.
