Stunning Statement From Sheikh Khalen Group – We’ve Agreed Terms – And Working Hard To Complete Newcastle Deal

Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan has confirmed his group has agreed to acquire Newcastle United.

We’ve just put out an article saying that he will be working hard to complete the deal since other groups are still interested in buying the club.

He’s put out a statement to the fans telling them his intentions are to buy Newcastle and it’s an honor build on the strong support, history, and tradition of the club.

The Bin Zayed Group founder has revealed he has held discussions with Mike Ashley and hopes to complete a £350million deal “at the earliest opportunity.”

That isn’t Jose Mourinho in disguise – is it?

This is the statement from one of his top executives Midhat Kidwai that has just been released:

“We can confirm the representatives of his Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Zayed Al Nahyan are in discussions with Mike Ashley and his team about the proposed acquisition of Newcastle United Football Club,”

“We view it as an honor to have the opportunity to build on the strong support, history and tradition of the club.”

“We have agreed terms and are working hard to complete the transaction at the earliest opportunity.”

“Best Regards, Midhat Kidwai, Group Managing Director, Bin Zayed Group.”

It looks like this is going to happen!

Comments welcome.

It was never a case of him not coming up with the money, rather Liverpool just refused to sell to him.

Complete the transaction as soon as possible.

Are they just waiting for prem league approval before transferring funds?

Sounds as positive as I’ve heard it.

This is just another smokescreen by our devious weasel of an owner. It’ll drag on all summer and then Ashley will say that the interest wasn’t serious. Meanwhile, he has an excuse not to invest any money. Sound familiar? It is!

“In terms of timing on the appointment of a director or new owner, advanced notification is required, and the club needs to make the application at least 10 working days prior to the date on which the person is to become a director, and the league is required to respond within five working days of receipt of the application to confirm in the case of the EPL whether or not the person can become a director or is disqualified”

This is amazing news, I hope the outlay of our transfers goes up considerable but not the due diligence we do on players; we have a group to be proud of with the spirit here, I don’t want that compromised for players looking for a pay day. Remember Man City had, Robinho, Adebayor and Jo before they got on winning formulas

Judging by Ryder’s statement earlier I think this is all just a press blast.

If it was true about Stavely not getting club image rights, that’ll be an absolute deal breaker. Makes sense to sell given he’s just got rid of the land…
