A report in Goal claims that Valencia, who was reported to have interest a couple of weeks ago, are confident that Ayoze Perez will leave Newcastle this summer.
In March, Ayoze made some comments in an interview on El Chiringuito TV about one day returning to his home country to play.
We are not sure if Goal is referencing those past comments or if there are any recent updates to Perez wishing to return home this summer.
The report adds that sources close to Valencia claim Ayoze is ready to return to Spain and that an offer is being prepared.
Ayoze Perez– is that Valencia calling?
However, Goal also claims that Valencia would be unable to match Newcastle’s reported valuation of €25 for Ayoze. This development could make for an interesting situation between club and player.
Valencia would seem to appeal to Ayoze as they will compete in the Champions League next season while Newcastle will most likely struggle to be safe unless drastic measures are taken over the next month.
Ayoze will have been very dissatisfied with the outcome of Rafa’s contract negotiations and we would have to believe he will entertain any offers that come his way.
With the recent departure of Rafa, we have to be prepared for these links for our top players as it is going to be a deluge of them over the next six weeks.
This is what Ayoze tweeted on that now infamous Monday of June 24th, 2019:
Gracias @rafabenitezweb por estos años, mucha suerte en tus nuevos proyectos! Eres un mister ?
Thank you Rafa for all these years at Newcastle and good luck in the future! You are a ? manager pic.twitter.com/pzVQ6voRw7

Comment #2Magscar you have me wrong I don’t look for controversy but as I’m not afraid to counter a dodgy view it often comes back to me. It’s the blog way i suppose. To be honest the situation at our club is bigger than petty jousts so I’m resolved to down tools on the barbed repartee with you in favour of concentrating on the real issue of how this situation with nufc is addressed. I obviously hold your opinion in higher regard than you do mine ha ha I respect the fact you build your argument rationally and you a tuslly make some good observations but even though we disagree i don’t got it in fer ye ha ha. So with that said I’m moving along from this one, take a jab if you like I’m over it.

Comment #5If I’m a player for Newcastle United I would refuse the trip to China, imagine the whole 22 man squad saying FU to Ashley, that would be a statement.
Here’s another one, all fans don’t go watch the Gunners match, empty stadium means world wide news, also fans make it clear that they are going to local teams in the area to spend there money, not giving it to MA.
Wear the colors of Newcastle United but spend money on local teams like Ashington AFC, Gateshead, Bishop Auckland, Newcastle Benfield FC, Whitley Bay FC and so on.
Imagine the news, Newcastle Fans sick of Cockney bullshit, show support to Northern teams.
And if you really want to make the biggest statement of all, wear the black and white and go watch Sunderland play, what a story, Mike Ashley has lost the fans, they prefer to watch rivals instead.

Comment #6Why (apart from the obvious money) would any of our current players want to stay in what will be a seriously toxic atmosphere at SJP?
Conversely, which players would want to sign for us??
Our local press need to cover the situation with more reporting than they have.
It was very disappointing to see a short TV piece…”Rafs gone…whos next”
It was almost like it didn’t really happen. No mention of it since.
They need to step up and help rid us of the toad.

Gateshead would be a much better choice. Trying to support and fund them into the EFL would be a worthy alternative.

Like 99% of players, why would a manager critisize another manager. I’m pretty sure that when you work in the same indusrtri you ar more mindful and tactful about the people in the same work space as you, you oc get flair ups, but it’s not normal.
So again, Sarri took over a team going backwards
Season before Rafa finished 2nd
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012%E2%80%9313_S.S.C._Napoli_season
RAFAS1st season 13/14 3rd place
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013%E2%80%9314_S.S.C._Napoli_season
RAFAS 2nd season 5th
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014%E2%80%9315_S.S.C._Napoli_season
SARRI 1ST season 2nd
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015%E2%80%9316_S.S.C._Napoli_season
On every measurable Rafa took Napoli backwards in 2 seasons, people obsessed with goal difference, Napoli scored less and conceded more under Rafa.
The same applied to Madrid and Milan, apart from 1 game at Madrid where they scored 11, but read about the game, Madrid were 2~0 down until the other team had 2 men strangely sent off. The ref was awarding strange penalties.
The one common denomator is Rafa.
Personnaly Rafa has done well for himself, but leaves the clubs in a very bad way, but people are blinded by there hate for Ashley.

Reply. ” Only if you show me your dick first”

Lol, what an interesting concept. Sunderland fans have abandoned their team in droves. Maybe they should come to SJP in protest, too. We’d have a sea of red and white in the cathedral on the hill, and a sea of black and white in the sh!thouse by the Wear.
I know you weren’t serious, just having a laugh.

Comment #22Just a thought could the players refuse to play? Might be easier for the fans to ask the players not to play until the fat p%=#k disappears there is always going to be that group of people who turn up to watch games no matter what! But if the players really get behind a hard movement by the fans
1) no reason for anybody at the ground
2) great publicity
3) players will be hero’s

I don’t think the club has moved forwards or backwards, we are a yoyo club no matter who the manager is.
Like all things there is good and bad to argue against each other.
I LIKE RAFA THE MAN, I think he is a people person, I do think he has a good heart.
I don’t even mind his Ruthfulness with some players, if it was to the benifits of the team,.
HIS FAILURE to me is his loyalty to his team he takes to every new job, Sir Alex had great success over many seasons but even he freshened up his coaching squad regularly, Rafa sticks to his same guys and I think it is quite evedent when you look at his last 4 clubs that something is wrong with his approach.
On this site, Lascells was voted the 4th best CB, we all seen it, but Rafa still chose him for most games, yet he is a week point.
Il give you another example, Longstaff, he got his chance and grabbed it, not a single person on here will ever convince me Rafa got his treatment right, before his chance Rafa played Diame way to much, he gives 100% but footballer he isn’t, Longstaff should have played a long time before he did, for me, Longstaff is by far the best players we have produced in a long long time, he will captain our team in the not to distant future.
Rafa is way to controlling and does not trust the players, that’s why we sit between the halfway our GK and launch balls up.
Almirion would never be a hit under Rafa, his starting position is to far back, and it allows teams to get into a defensive position before he can do damage,.
Ki Muto and jonjo are victums of wanting to play higher up the pitch, there natural instinct takes them there, but Rafa wants deeper play and players that hold position.
