Newcastle’s Budding Superstar Responds To Transfer Talk

On the eve of Paraguay’s Copa America quarterfinal against Brazil, Miguel Almiron gave an interview last night which beIN Sports journalist Roberto Rojas shared some of on Twitter.

One interesting excerpt was about the supposed interest of Real Madrid in the Paraguayan midfielder.

Below is what Miguel Almiron said about the link:

Almiron’s star has risen over the past few weeks due to his outstanding performances in the Copa America.

There were recent reports that his play had attracted the attention of Real Madrid which has spawned Miguel’s comments above.

It will be interesting to see if this link to Real Madrid intensifies over the summer as Miguel will likely be a bit concerned with Newcastle not retaining Rafa Benitez.

Paraguay will face off against Brazil tonight in the quarterfinals of the Copa America tournament.

    True that.

I wonder if he will end up on skysports to talk about every penny, his lack of wealth, the right buyer, his loss with debenhams, his ridiculous smug grin and slug like features. God I hate this man, my foot may go through the TV.

Sadly, it is looking increasingly likely that what a lot of us thought.

Genuine or not any takeover invited he will engineer a way to collapse it. For in many minds he has no interest in selling and just creates a media storm each year to proficate more advertising for his grubby empire.

I still have a a glimmer of hope of a takeover. Just like I dream of winning the lotto.

These stories about Ashley putting a timetable on it so he knows what’s happening. Total balls from Journos looking for clicks.

    Facts are:

    1) BZG have stated publicly their desire to purchase the club.
    2) BZG have instructed solicitors in the UK to act on their behalf in the matter.
    3) BZG have now got a UK LTD company to act as a transfer conduit for the shares
    3) BZG have stated that proof of funds were shown to Ashley in april
    4) BZG are the only prospective buyers who have come out and said they want to purchase. Staveley nor Kenyon said as much publicly, that was all supposition and hearsay.

Ashley is in America isn’t he? A very secretive man with an inner circle consisting of 6 trusted people and a journalist hears from that circle that he wants to put a 2 week timetable on it?

This is a cross roads. If he intends to sell, he’s got to do it now. We’ve never had a buyer so openly keen to purchase the club and if it falls through it’s down to either his intransigence or insistence on putting some cack in about keeping his SD signs and Merch rights or he’s just pillocking us around again.

I still believe that he’ll sell, he needs to. He can’t afford another stint in the championship and even he would know that the only managers he’s going to get in are the ones who can’t find work anywhere else.

Also, if the rumours that he’s demanding a sale in two weeks are being fed to the media by his camp, I’d say it’s more than likely that he’s engineered it to make himself look good, to be a titan in business; he has, after all, just been so royally schooled by Rafa in the art of negotiating that he lost his rag and set the club on fire.

Feeling totally deflated and hopeless. I can’t stand this crap anymore. When the takeover looks ever so close the twat goes and puts a deadline the day after reports say it’s still months away! This will never happen then and we’re stuck with this cancer in our club! The optimistic fool inside me still thinks that on July 1st it might happen yet. I dunno how the hell I still think that tbh.

For all we know he might be involved in some kind of property deal with BZG and the whole thing has been a sham from the start to take the heat off Rafas contract situation.

It’s makes no difference what BZG or any prospective buyer says.

It’s MA so it won’t be sold.

This was his best and probably last chance to do the right thing and he’s clearly only intent on doing yet more damage.

That lottery win is more likely and I don’t even buy lottery tickets.

Bambams, am hearing it’s the structure of the deal that is the problem. ashLIE agreed one thing, then moved the goalposts and now wants another schedule. I honestly think he’s trying to ring out the last penny from BZG, they have the original deal agreed, but now it’s changed.

Where has this Tony Baloney come from with his bollox opinions about how “the boycott won’t affect Sky”? Firstly what is “the” boycott???? There are several options of what we could boycott and for how long. And the prime reasons for boycotting are not to affect sky. It’s to stop allowing ourselves to have the p¡ss ripped out of us for the rest of eternity without at least offering some form of resistance.

Its always the naysayers who scupper plans then turn round and say “see, I told you it wouldn’t work” when they are the ones who fckd everything up by saying nay.

Bambams, I have no doubt that Ashley is the most spiteful creature on the planet. I’m sure he enjoyed giving the media team the instructions to say Rafa was gone at the end of the month because he knew it’d hurt the fans. I’m sure if he’s leaving, he’ll try and kick us in the balls on his way out the door because that’s the kind of bloke he is.

JFA – or is it boycott now? 🙂 BZG are massive multi-national conglomerate. They can buy and sell Ashley 20x over and still have change to do it again. Stavely and Kenyon were smokescreens, of that I have no doubt. Stavely was part of it to raise her profile and for her efforts Ash bought her a curry. Kenyon is a mate of Ash who was happy to be the decoy. I think BZG have played it right and stated their intentions. Could it all collapse? Absolutely with that rat in charge, but it all feels too genuine.

I think we all have to take a step back before we reach any conclusions on what is happening with the takeover. We have to remember who the seller is. He was always going to try and coin an extra few quid late in the deal, as Micky has alluded too. This is his final chance, it’s in his nature to try.

Just deal with the facts. Like Muz has pointed out, more points to a sale than not atm.

Peolple on here can list reasons why this will go then get angryandt stressed when nothing happens what does it achieve we cant do anything?? If I wake tomorrow and a deal is complete happy days but If a deal is off and to be honest we all knew after about a week of no further progress this was Ash upto his tricks you can’t get upset just concentrate on something else for me it will be my family.

Every day is like another punch on the gut. The light of positivity is diminishing from me now.

I did hold hope that the takeover would happen and that all the silence was golden. Ahhhh why do I always keep falling for his PR games.

What stood out for me was the reports about Ashley moving goalposts co in lining with that supposed Midhat convo were he said when asked about the takeover still happening his response was in a different manner.

Just looks like another Ashley master class or fcuking with us fans.

Seriously tho how is this man a billionaire?? Because he is thick as fcuk he had everything to make this club grow and have bigger financial rewards but never saw the potential in that. He was in a dream situation in having a world class
Manager in Rafa being appointed to the club but just kept wanting to survive. He is either thick as fcuk or all he wants to do is fcuk with us fans.

But sadly looks like we will be stuck with him a long time to come.

All the fans can do now is make the club, stadium, social media, sports direct etc as toxic as possible. We need to make the whole thing so shite for Ashley that he has no alternative than to sell.
Any new manager who is to come through the door, sorry fella, you are not welcome here. Not so long as that fat parasite is here.
The whole club is a joke right now, with Ashley holding every scrap of control. Fk him. The fans can absolutely force him out. Lets take back control of the club. Boycotts are a start, but we need to make sure no manager is welcomed here, Charnley is not welcome, anything or anybody associated with Ashley is not welcome.
He keeps turning the screw as a bit fk you to the fans. Lets play him at his own game

Course he can afford another stint in the championship we thought that the first time and we were wrong, we thought he couldn’t afford to loose Rafa and we were wrong. The championship will take about 100m off the value of the club he could sell 100m worth of players to make that up easily.

The worrying thing is Rafa could be being silent because he doesn’t want to make a bad situation worse and 100% rule himself out of a possible return under Ashley.

Anyone who pays a season ticket or who goes to matches from here on in is a complete and total selfish moron. ITS THE ONLY WAY WE AS SUPPORTERS CAN AFFECT HIM.

I am with Micky here, I believe its Ash just swinging his….you know what, in the hope he gets more. Its typical of him.

I was messaging others earlier when I first heard getting their thoughts, we all to a man said that is it for us – never go back if Ash stays.

You are also correct, concentrate on family, however I have four daughters and it would be cheaper if I went to the match than go shopping.

Back to the Falcons for me if this ends badly.

Ash is someone who lost 300M on Natwest futures and 150M on Debenhams and hardly blinked. He doesn’t have to do anything. He’s just a twisted individual with his own sick destructive agenda where he doesn’t mind taking himself down with us.

If this is the scenario at the start of the season with Rafa already exited stage left and Ashley still here, then the people who turn up for our first game need to really examine their principles and morals as they will be complicit in no change taking place.

Ash did this with the Mansours but has seemingly learnt nothing. Stupid games saying they have’t got the money when in essence he just keeps putting the price up and prolongs the agony.
