Portuguese Manager Has Expressed Interest In Joining Newcastle

Sky Sports is reporting Porto manager Sergio Conceicao as another manager that is interested in succeeding Rafa Benitez at Newcastle when his contract expires on June 30th.

The report has minimal details of his supposed interest with no quotes or sources so there may not be much to it. He is not out of a job so there may be something in this link.

Conceicao is a 44-year-old Portuguese manager who has been in charge of six clubs since first taking charge of third division Portuguese club Olhanense in 2012.

He has been the coach of Porto FC for the past two seasons winning the Super Liga title in 2018 and finishing second behind Benfica this past year.

Prior to that, he coached Nantes for half a season leading them out of the relegation zone before being appointed as the Porto boss.

The FC Nantes job was his only one outside of Portugal. While in France though, he surprisingly turned down the opportunity to replace Claudio Ranieri at Leicester City to remain with the French club.

He does seem to have something about him and we respect that he remained with Nantes in February 2017 after having just joined the club the prior December.

That shows a bit of loyalty and maybe he is now open to coming to the Premier League even though Porto is a top club in Portugal.

And how long before all this comes to fruition? Months, years maybe?

Can’t just rely on local MPs and HMRC. They’re no doing it because they care for our club.

    Imho MA wont leave ever
He simply wont leave while he can make money unless hes forced to

Nobodys going to buy it from him,he wont sell

So its not really relevant how long

Eventually he will leave, either his way.

    Or the governments way

To he honest right now i dont mind waiting till the government get him

A very close relative of mine had the illness and it caused a lot o heartache and disruption in his family, so don’t you start your sanctimonious, holier than thou crap with me and don’t try to deflect your ignorant witterings by citing another bloggers wrong doings.

You are at fault on this occasion but you are not going to admit it are you, waste of time even trying to speak to you.

Robleenio: makes about as much sense as Donald Rumsfeld and his “known unknowns”. Which actually did make sense except you had to read it 60 times to figure out what he was saying. So, yes. It made sense. If that makes sense!

The HMRC have been looking at MA and his dealings since 2016
    These things take time

Once the bill is passed in parliament how long do you think it will take the HMRC to ask the government to help them look at MA ?

He has split the toon into iirc 32 parts,im hoping each one leads to some different part of the parasites empire

They will take the whole thing down

Oh and from that perspective your saying the whole world should stop trying to point out the illness just in case some bloke might get triggered ?

Im sure you would hate for anyone else to get help

Its easy enough just ignore me,but thats not your point is it

Lol Tony, I once sat through an afternoon of sales training on the ‘known knowns’, ‘uknown knowns’, ‘known unknowns’ and the ‘unknown unknowns’.

I hadn’t realised that sort of bullsh!t was international until I saw Donald Rumsfeld talking about it to a bemused audience.

I bet they don’t put up with sales trainers in the UAE. Probably treat them like the knobs they are and chop off a couple of body parts.

Sorry but I do not accept or will support any manager that Ashley installs now and we should make it clear that there is no honeymoon period and no support unless he sells . Would take relegation this season and not bouncing back if we are not sold to turn off his money supply and start costing him money. We are fooling ourselves if we think he will change or this will get better

I actually backed one of the protests and tried to say how it could get more publicity. The rotting fish in the pockets of SD trackies sounded good to me. And giving anonymous tips to the 8 full time Chronic journalists in the breakroom to write a story on it was the best I could muster.

Not gettin at anyone, but if this takeover is in someway happening,at what stage are they at,
    bid offered,
    Bid accepted,
    Paperwork,
    Premier league approval?
There will obviously be more levels to this but how far along do any of the people with any info know where we are….im happy to read any info posted on here,as i know i can make my own mind up whether to believe it…but would be interesting to at what stage the takeover is meant to be at.

droppy, sorry if what I said came across as offensive to you, certainly not intended.

Mental health illness is a curse of our time and it’s affecting so many people and unfortunately too many people are slipping through the NHS net who really do need help.

Yes I agree that he made a rash comment without realising it through ignorance but he’s made it worse by refusing to acknowledge it or apologise to the person he insulted.

Rob, sales people here are on a grand a month at best, there is no decent training. They’re useless. Even the “good” ones are useless, but hey they’re cheap, and 20 Indian guys are better than one pro from the West – cos the Sales Manager is also Indian who wants as many gofers below him as possible – he takes a percentage off them each month just for employing them.

    Never seen corruption like it.

Oh and don’t anyone call me racist – the most racist people here are the Indians – they discriminate their own on caste.
