Almiron Deflects Real Madrid Rumour – Concentrating on Newcastle United.

Miguel Almiron was interviewed by ABCTV Paraguay upon his and his compatriots return from Copa America. Paraguay was eliminated in a heart-wrenching penalty shootout in their quarterfinals against Brazil on Thursday.

Roberto Rojas, a beIN Sports reporter and our go to guy for any Paraguay National Team information, just tweeted out this about Miguel’s interview:

These are excellent words from Miguel Almiron. We especially love his use of the past tense when referencing his focus for the National team.

His declaration “now I’m focused on Newcastle” should be reassuring for Newcastle fans. Miguel will be very disappointed in the way Paraguay was eliminated by South American powerhouse Brazil.

But Paraguay were very much up for the game and gave Brazil all they could handle. It just went down to the fate of a penalty shootout.

Miguel will also be distraught that the man who fought so hard to bring him to Newcastle will not be there to welcome him back on July 4th. However, he will have felt the love and support of the Newcastle fans and we have to believe, or at least hope, that he will return ready to light up the crowd of St James Park.

The more we see and hear from Miguel Almiron the more we respect and admire him. He just comes across as such a genuine and humble individual. Let’s hope we get to see him in the black and whites for years to come.

    Well done Nobby Solano
    Peru knocked out Uruguay
The game ended with the wonderful sight
of the obnoxious Luis Suarez in tears after
    missing a penalty.

As much as Toon22 and Irishmag like to spout negativity into basically everything that has reported by every media.

Let’s look at some facts here.

1 – Club and BZG have confirmed deal has been agreed and terms been accepted – for the simple minded this means deal has been agreed by both parties and waiting for the fit and proper test!

2 – Company house records shows removal of accounts and an account added by BZG! Why do this when it’s all lies apparently according to some!

3 – Not sure on but are SD signs still up? Many have reported they are all down!

4 – No comment from club about this situation but BZG have issued 2 statements, but again apparently all lies just to let Rafa leave lol honestly!

5 – Media forcing false stories but club and BZG still silenced as most likely hands are tied with the PL duration on outcome test, which evidently should be next week if the reports are true with time scales on takeover fit and proper test.

6 – If Rafa doesn’t come out with an statement tomorrow means he still on contract terms with NDA meaning a process in takeover is ongoing.

7 – New tops highest price, why? Could be because Mike is literally selling up soon, until the club is sold MA still receives financial ls from NUFC on merchandise, meaning the price rise, most if not all businesses do this when selling remaining assets before potential buyer takes over.

Read between the real lines people, it’s in front of you, don’t listen to media outlets unless all is revealed by every media outlet, stories will always be twisted so they can earn more money from lies.

If nothing happens next week then by all means shot me down and believe in what you want, I’m only going on facts that have been presented to us!

Hi everyone, I have been a reader for quite some time now. I now feel like i would like to join in the conversations in this time of disarray. I feel like Mike Ashley has been purposely messing around with the Geordie faithful for years. I was one of many protesting back a few years ago after a Hull City match. Even my friends from Hull where protesting about the shocking way in which Ashley runs our football club.

For me this is not just a Newcastle fans base thing, this is a footballing issue in general. As everyone has said in the past all he want to do is line his own pockets. There needs to be something in place where the owner has to invest a parentage back into the community and the football club. I know we have all the premier league checks thing. However, I believe that this is only to see if they are capable of owning a football club.

I just wish this about the takeover was concluded one way or another. If it found that this was all a hoax from Ashley we should have a case of fraud filed against him. He will have obtained the fans monies by decent (New owners coming in).

That’s it from me for now. Please be gentle lol

A mass and peaceful pitch invasion is the perfect protest. Game abandoned. Club docked points. Less tv time for sports direct. Games then played behind closed Doors. Sky and other tv outlets more reluctant to pay for Newcastle games. Ashley backed into a corner.

If we’re not cowardly of course

If this story isnt a complete fabrication then it looks good for the takeover no? Or do people think Ashley is making it up and the deal will now collapse for some other reason?

I think the takeover is done, just waiting to announce. I also think BZG have agreement with Rafa for him to come back……NUFC statement re. Rafa last week was one last 2 fingered salute from Ashley- he knows BZG can’t say anything (NDA), and neither can Rafa (yet….he’d risk having to pay up) if he’s already agreed to come back under BZG.

Rafa wouldnt be staying quiet, even if he was away elsewhere……I think he respects the fans too much to not say anything at all.

Tomorrow will be a pivotal day.

    4iiiis

He’s been working with the U23s boss and has managed at clubs like Leeds and Rotherham plus a couple of wimmins teams.

    MA

Bloody hell Leeds and Rotherham have football reams and wimmin play football, are you taking the p!!s.

    4iiiis

No boss I keep telling you that you need to learn something about football if you want to run this club properly.

    MA

Naah, fck that buying shops is what I do and so long as the mugs keep coming to games and buying my stuff.
    That’ll do for me.

Chron/Sun are reporting Mackem takeover may be in trouble. Mackems still seem to love the Chancer who bought them with their own money – parachute payments. I have no idea why but he did a talk in last night. He is as bad as Ashley but without the money. If the takeover fails they will be in big trouble as Stewart Donald is a lightweight as far as football owners go.

Rafa would have a fair idea how much Mikey is milking from the club with shirt sales etc and only the very gullible and naive would deny that he is milking this golden goose. Rafa offered him a plan that wouldn’t allow him to milk so much every year but would bring success and his free advertising. Not good enough for Money mad Mike though, he’s prepared to risk relegation and 100’s of millions to do it his way and at our expense.
