Peter Redding who is a Capital Radio presenter based in Dubai has just tweeted out the following information:
As always can only report on what I'm told directly in house. BZG still buoyant (have been waiting on PL) "statement in the next few days" #NUFCtakover
— Peter Redding-Capital Radio UAE (@dubai_geordie) July 1, 2019
According to Peter, BZG are still optimistic and are waiting on the Premier League.
While we’ve seen these types of positive updates all before, Peter does mention a forthcoming statement in the next few days.
It is unclear from his tweet if the statement will be from the Premier League or from BZG.
Newcastle fans could certainly use some good news this week after suffering through last week with the news of Rafa’s departure.
It may be that Peter Redding has heard something positive recently. He tweeted this last Tuesday after being asked by reeling Newcastle fans desperate for positive news on the takeover front:
#NUFCtakover appreciate all of the messages and requests on the subject, but I only comment when I have hard facts to report. Difficult day yesterday for all NUFC fans, lets see what today brings.
— Peter Redding-Capital Radio UAE (@dubai_geordie) June 25, 2019
Let’s hope we do hear something over the next few days. Even if it is negative, Newcastle fans can then fully concentrate and unite on getting Ashley out of the club

Can you name them posters please? Maybe I’ve forgotten but what you’re mentioning seems to be the match day wums and I would never use them to make a point.

Comment #3have a serious question to ask you all. I ask all loyal fans to like this comment if you would do the following :
Dont buy the new shirt from NUFC, but buy a plain black and white shirt made in China mass produced with no profit to anyone with a simple “The Real Toon” on the front, this will hurt the fat cockney in the pocket as I think this is the only place he has any feelings, any other suggestions for the writing on the shirt welcome, we could do this with enough support.

Comment #5IF (and it’s one of those biggest IFs you can stress) BZG are still buying the club then one of two things is happening:
1. They never wanted Rafa.
2. They do want Rafa but couldn’t get the deal sorted before his contract run out so Mike let him go and BZG will try to bring him back and look like saviours.
Either way there are so many ifs, buts, and maybes out there that I feel we all know which way the wind is turning and it’s straight back to the Fat Slug.

Thats where the magpie group meeting at 7 the night is taken place.
Ive not been to a meeting before but i think now is the time to start.
More should come voice your view. People say protests wont happen. Make them happen be part of it.

Comment #7Here’s a thought, maybe the deal is done but Ashley waiting until after season ticket renewal to confirm/sign off the deal.
The amount of people who have said they are cancelling season tickets, parting shot from Ashley that they give up their seats and can’t get them back.

Comment #14Munster when ashley is gone i will rejoice. If bzg buy us today tomorrow within next 6 weeks i will rejoice.
Never again will i have to think of ashley unless he buys the company i work for.
I will stop and will finally be able to get back to discussing the toon, run like a proper club.
I can only hope like you all that action is not needed.
But for me ive been fooled the last year and a half for sure that ashley was going to sell every time. Not no more for me. Enough is enough.

Rafa was the man that had our backs.
We all know the shit show that ashley is, but with rafa there we had someone fighting our corner had the same vision we want for the club.

Comment #18The problem with the Matchday threads is that it was not really a true reflection of views. It was all emotions and heat of the moment with wild swings depending on what was happening minute by minute. And of course complete negativity all of the time from Mackem WUM Ilovetoon8877.

Comment #20Overly negative! You must be joking! What a load of bolloxs! 1 year of Mike Ashley is way more than enough! No wonder Debenhams rejected him the greed is beyond belief! The supporters have bent over backwards for the prick and all he’s done is shaft them continually…

I can’t be bothered to go back to previous posts but you know as well as I do that plenty slated not just the performances, selections but also Rafa’s tactics. They cannot all have been WUM’s.
It’s like the old saying…
Nobody had a good thing to say about him…. until he died.
Not quite true in Rafa’s case but PLENTY on here slammed his selections and team performances and which ever way you look at it that was a criticism of Rafa.
And that’s a fact.

Comment #24I have mentioned on here the hold up of the takeover is because of a transfer of shares and that is the only reason
The prem league can’t release it untill this happens
Everybody is dying to release it as much as the fans want to hear it
Its happening
Players are also waiting on it as some have demanded to be put in the picture ,but legally it’s impossible
Understood there has been 7 transfer requests
Which have been ignored by ashley and there is a frustration amongst the players who are also in the dark
When the shares are transferred everything will be finalised
There is also expected to be as many as 13 ins and outs all confirmed on the same day but nothing can go through untill these shares are transferred
This is fact
Believe it or not
It was expected to finalise on the 20 th but the transfer of shares is holding it up
I am hearing that rafa was not wanted by the new owners who have a clear vision of where they see the club going and he is not part of that vision
Arsene Wenger is expected to be director of football with a young coach in place
Steven Gerrard

I mentioned meeting this morning and I genuinely hope that those on here posting or reading who can – do go.
Will look forward to reading their take. I know it is your intention to go . Only other one I recall was Optimistic
I seem to remember however that during Pizzagaet, Blog was consumed and inflamed with that and Ashley’s infamous scratching of nose rather than comment on and contribute to Magpie Group.
“Ashley out” is great – grand undisputed slogan gets you loads of hearts and you don’t need to do anymore to show your black and white credentials – that’s it job done – except you can have a go at ST holders as well especially as many if not most won’t read it but that’s them told anyway

And of course nothing being said now is ‘heat of the moment’ emotions?
Like wishing Ashley would die, someone saying they’d rather lose a child than Rafa, that NUFC is ruined, that relegation is a certainty and any player worth his salt will be off pronto etc., etc., etc.
Seriously, one of the best laughs I get each day is reading some of the ‘heat of the moment emotions’ constantly written on here.

Where do you get your supposed info? or is your claim just head in the clouds pipe dreams?
