Frozen Out Left Back Ready To Focus On Newcastle

Twenty-seven-year-old Achraf Lazaar has barely played for Newcastle United since he made a £2.5m move from Palermo three years. Rafa Benitez had brought him in of providing competition at left-back.

He made just 4 late substitute appearances in the Championship while staring all 5 of the cup matches that first season.

He has since been on loan the past two seasons.

He has been interviewed in Italy’s Calcio Mercato and these are some of his comments:

“I have finished my holidays, now I am going back to Newcastle.

“In the coming days I will start training for the new season.

“I am thinking only of Newcastle.”

Players like Achraf Lazaar, Jack Colback, Rolando Aarons, Henri Saivet, Jacob Murphy, and Dwight Gayle will be back training with the first squad on Thursday after their loan spells last season.

They will be under the initial guidance of both Ben Dawson and Neil Redfearn until a new manager is appointed

They will all be motivated to save their Newcastle careers. Especially Lazaar, Colback, Saivet, and Aarons who had barely featured under Benitez.

Depending on who Newcastle bring in, it will be up to them to earn their place in the squad. However, we really hope they will not be depended on for Newcastle’ survival as we really need better quality reinforcements for that.

Ben Dawson and Neil Redfearn to take training for the first team tomorrow. Perez, Diame, Rondon, Barreca and Kenedy gone from the squad they’ll be coaching.

Why do people keep saying Ash never comes to games so it won’t impact on him if there is a boycott. Ash may not see it but millions round the world will. Talk about missing the point. It really is very simple, you either say enough is enough and vote with your feet till Ashley is gone or you keep going and perpetuating the never ending cycle of Ashley’s total disregard for and abuse of the club and the fans.

Where the f8ck do I start with Nedders?

“The helicopter debacle, clowns thinking it’s takeover related when Mike was just politely giving Perez a lift to talk to Leicester after they met the release clause. And we wonder why there’s no vitriol from the club – by all accounts Mike’s looked after Ayoze and picked up £30m”

Nonsense, tosh and bull. When has ‘Mike’ ever given a ‘lift’ to any player in his helicopter? And to London? I don’t know what yesterday’s flight was about, but I’m certain it wasn’t Perez-related.

“Crown Place has the same office as Pinsent Masons, I’m just pointing out that this could have been easy to forge. Companies House is about £30 and doesn’t require a lot of proof.”

Again, absolute tosh. If Pinsent Masons were not involved, having been listed as the lawyers on the Companies House documentation, they would have sued the backside off whoever was responsible. It’s not ‘easy to forge’ this stuff, if you are a foreign national wanting to register as a company director, it’s a tedious process. Yes, Midhat is British, but Sheikh Khaled is not.

“I don’t think BZG have the money and Ashley will not be driven down. I’m almost certain we’d be getting into a worse pickle if it went through, and our fans act so entitled, what chance the new owners if it went bad, fast? Think Venky’s or SISU”

Now that, my friend, is slander, pure and simple. Character assassination, comparing BZG to Venkys. I think I’d rather trust the PL / FA on their fit and proper person test than some tinpot judgement from a self-appointed judge of a kangaroo court.

Honestly I do wonder at some posters on here, not only going out of their way to support ‘Mike’, but also to slag off Rafa and his signings and to start planting the seeds of why the potential new owners were tyre kickers.

Where the Hell is Toon22 when you actually need him?

This is the level ash has stiffed us with.
Dawson did very well with the U-23’s, rather him than Redfearn, whose credentials I don’t seem to be able to recall.

Muz from previous – Not sure about the sale of Perez on Balance Sheet (the value of the club) Perez will be down as an asset with a stated value of £30k (don’t think it will be £30k to be honest) so we sell him and the money is shown as Cash in the Bank or Leicester pay in installments in which case it will show up in the Debtors so the share value would stay the same. Likewise if Ashley takes the £30k to pay off a loan that would reduce the Creditor liability so again having no impact on the share value.

(A creditor is shown as a liability in the balance sheet of a firm a debtor is shown as an asset in the balance sheet till the time they pays off the loan.)

Tried to find out anything about the takeover and they are in the dark re BZG but suprisingly have said Kenyon is still in talks.

Believe he has Americans backing him. That is all they have heard ….its still silent.

Did you know Ash was last at the training ground when Pards was manager.

Return of the Geordi – the player registration for Perez would have been valued at the cost of his current contract amortised over the contract length – any upside on disposal would probably be washed through the P&L account netted off with the accrued amortisation from the start of the financial year.

If not used to pay down the debt, the upside would probably be pro-rata’d into a share price adjustment, but I’m at the edge of my expertise here…

It’s funny, I can’t remember who said it but they were adamant that some Americans were still at the table and that KGB had been blown out. If they are with Kenyon, then expect those hideous SD signs to still be up and some very ”soft” advertising for the fat man. On the plus side Kenyon is apparently very well connected and more MLS stars could be turning up.

Rondon will not be bought by the Toon and Adams signed for Southampton 2 days ago. Great shout – not.

    Nedders

I may be wrong but your posts are delivering mixed messages – one minute you’re criticising Ashley, the next you’re effectively bailing him as the club’s saviour. You refer to Ashley as ‘Mike’? Mike? The same Mike that’s screwed Newcastle United, that’s taking the pi$$ out of its fans.

Sorry Nedders, referring to Ashley as Mike says a lot to me!

Isn’t an aircraft registration beginning with “N” a US registered one?
(Doesn’t detract from your post, was just interested)

Oh….and BTW, you were spot on yesterday about Emirates two class aircraft – I checked, even the 777 they now use out of NCL is still two class
