Ayoze Perez Sends Heartfelt Goodbye To Newcastle United Fans

Ayoze Perez has just posted this message to Newcastle United fans, staff, and all coaches he was under at Newcastle.

This is a very classy statement by Ayoze who obviously put some time and effort into it. He just felt that he had to move on and with all that is going on with Newcastle United, we cannot blame him.

We are happy that Ayoze is happy at his new club. He stayed for five years under very trying circumstances and deserves to move on if that is what he wishes to do.

We will remember him for his clutch goals and tireless effort. We will also remember how he embraced and spoke so high of the people of Newcastle.

Good luck Ayoze!

Hard to believe the fact that toon22 is the most consistently accurate poster on this blog. And all it is is skepticism towards Ashley’s PR. Hasn’t experience thought is all to be skeptical when it comes to anything Mike Ashley?

    Clearly not

I don’t think toon22s skepticism is a problem. I think most of us, even the umber-positive ones, had at least some skepticism. The problem is when toon22 accuses anyone who has a different view of being a “paid shill” or “Ashley’s PR” or we get “hiya kba”.
He actually causes most of the confrontation and arguments that he claims are a pr ploy.

In other words, he can be skeptical without being a total d1ck about it.

I know he wasn’t everyone’s favorite player but I think he was under rated by most. Sad to see him go but wish him the best. Thanks for the goals Ayoze.

T22 feels that by going along with it you are falling into the trap Ashley is setting. And his crusade is to persuade others to not pay onto that bandwagon. It’s a valiant effort from him.

It does appear we have have too many Neville Chamberlains and not enough Bomber Harris’.

One fine day , Genjikia , Lads

Just been talking to Chi’ secretary..0191-2325838.

Told they would put the idea of the Arsenal match being shown in Leazes Park to the City council if a representitive or individual in Chi’s constituency puts the idea to them right now.

Sec also said that the city council would probably go with it and not be opposed to the idea but NE1 would have to pay for it ..it would have to be paid for from private sector ..NE1 do that anyway..its the pubs and clubs and Local bussinesses that fund that sort of thing ..bit like the beach oasis thing down at the Quayside.

They will ask the City council, put it to them for us, no problem

So if your under Chi’s wing , area she covers ..give her a bell. They are now expecting a call.

    Iv opened the door.

They are supportive and will represent you.

Ring now..hes in. Don’t be shy he’s a lovely guy.

I joined the Magpie group a while back ..I was just about to join NUST ..im having second thoughts on that ..it just went from 650 members ? To near 7 thousand members and then Steve Wraith pops up ! and saying he does not want a boycott of the Arsenal match !

Well who is he to dictate policy ? 7 thousand others should Boycott that notion and do what they were going to do before he popped up ..Boycott Arse.

Well that had better go to a democratic vote among them as I don’t think one man as a figurehead should hold sway ..

I want a bloody Boycott ! its the only way..everything else fails and pales in comparison to the massive embarrassment that it will cause Mike Ashley .

Perez’s message (as I see it) shows he didn’t hold the abuse against those fans who kept it up. His celebration was an answer to those people, and banter for the rest of us.
I think we have lost a top player. At 25 he was just hitting his Golden Years. He managed to be our top scorer past 2 seasons even with his inconsistent form. I for one think we will regret losing him.

hey Online Guy I agree with you on that.
Lets be honest he thinks he is Mr Newcastle. But truth is its all about making money for him.
Theres no way he would miss a match as hes meeting people there to try and organise stuff and make more money. Thats not what is required.

The NE1 group are the legit people like Pubs and clubs and Tynesides bussinesses who do have the rights for broadcasting the matches ..they have a massive fund to pay Sky and the like for public events..a lot of celebration and festivals and the like are paid for by them around the city.

City Council are open to it .

It’s on ! Just need a few constituents of Chi’s to call Chi’s secretary in the morning and he will set the wheels in motion. Totally supportive !

But how can the fans, supporters and followers achieve a common ground and a way forward, if each group of bomber harisses has a different point, and are completely immovable? That’s the point I was making. Surely 99 percent of us want rid of Ashley, and having T22 niggling at you with “hiya kba” each time you said something he doesn’t like, creates a bigger divide.
I bet he wouldn’t do it in the street if he over heard something that annoyed him. He’d probably end up getting his froggy face caved in. I think more people would start to listen to his points if he wasn’t such an insufferable tool

You are the type of bloke that holds grudges for years ..I will never understand that in a person , it’s horrible .

You hounded Bills son from the moment he came back trying to make him admit he was wrong every waking day ! ..now you have hounded him off.

Joe Stuck up for Bills right ,or anyone else right to have an opinion and defended that and you call Joe a coward for defending anyones right to speak !

For the record I did not agree with most of what Bill was saying ..I detest anyone defending Ashley but I’m against anyone sitting on his fkng high Chair trying to gag someone because he has a different opinion to you.

    Control the blog Jail.

I did not agree with Bills son defending Ashley and told him so.

I think Joe was brave defending someone’s right to speak despite your attacking people daily.

Take a look at yourself man.

I am truly sad to see Ayoze go. It seems like the end of an era – and while it was an era that wasn’t all that kind to us, we’ve come through it together. I keep hoping for a better tomorrow, but I think that’s just a dream. So much potential, but just no way to unleash it! It’s time that the powers that be start showing us a small degree of respect and tell us what’s going on – one way or the other. FFS

While we’re busy talking about takeovers and Rafa(less so) mike Ashley is sitting on his hands taking reduced flak and the season ticket sales keep rolling in. Relegation is becoming more a certainty with each passing day, is that a fair statement? And most of the ones who remain positive are doing nothing proactive to even try to prevent it. It’s like most accepted the rot has set in and let’s just be positive for the sake of being positive.

Email or contact your local MP however you choose and ask them to represent you in parliament in regards to MAs ownership of our club
They are supposed to act upon the wishes of their constituents, with a bill that would act against MA in process there

When mike Ashley marched back into SJP last year the red carpet was pretty much rolled out by the “real fans” who follow through thick and thin. Reminiscent of the nazi invasion of the Rhineland where the French made empty threats of retaliation and in the end done nothing but talk.
