Promising Youngster Signs First Professional Contract

Ryan Barrett signed his first professional contract with Newcastle United on Monday.

Here is the tweet Ryan sent out commemorating this momentous occasion in his career:

Ryan was one of three 2nd year scholarship players who were offered contracts earlier in June.

Ryan is an U17 Welsh International right-back who has just turned 18 in June. He made 7 appearances for the Newcastle U18s last season before being promoted into the U23s in January and making 4 appearances for them.

We would like to congratulate Ryan and hope that he has a tremendous career ahead of him.

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if ashlies plan is to run us into the ground, leave us with next to nothing, and invest in them unwashed down the road seems everything he does is against what majority want, watch us fall and him help them out

New manager in. Two decent forwards. Retain gayle. New left/ right winger and a maverick midfielder.

Weve already got a good defence. Should get all that for £90 mil

All these youngins mean Too many players in the squad, we’ll have to sell before we buy.

Good job Colbacks here to play no10 instead of Perez or we’d be funked

Bills, I’m not trying to persuade anybody to do anything mate. It’s the other way round. Frankly, I don’t care what other people do because it’s none of my business. And, what I do is none of theirs either. People should just accept other people’s decisions and leave it at that. The irony of it all is they watch on TV and that’s the problem, not me.

From previous……I have read some seriously funny comments on this blog over the years.
But your response to toon22 – ‘very convincing arguments’ is the best I’ve ever seen.

I’m gonna take legal advice for compensation – you owe me a mouthful of whiskey!!

No point arguing with Bobbybee he has his view and prerogative and that won’t change, we need to move on from that one.

I do have a question though about supporting the team and that is, what is the purpose of supporting something like a sports team? I thought it was to motivate them to achieve something. To show them that you are there behind them and encouraging their efforts to do so It strikes me that supporting something that is by policy not allowed to achieve, what’s the actual point?

    Other than that, I digress.

BobbyBee: love the fact Chris Gayle is bowling with his designer sunglasses on. Just needs the umpire to hold his cocktail with a piece of pineapple sticking out and one of those little umbrellas.

    Genjikia , Lads

Just been talking to Chi’ secretary..0191-2325838.

Told they would put the idea of the Arsenal match being shown in Leazes Park to the City council if a representitive or individual in Chi’s constituency puts the idea to them right now.

Sec also said that the city council would probably go with it and not be opposed to the idea but NE1 would have to pay for it ..it would have to be paid for from private sector ..NE1 do that anyway..its the pubs and clubs and Local bussinesses that fund that sort of thing ..bit like the beach oasis thing down at the Quayside.

They will ask the City council, put it to them for us, no problem

So if your under Chi’s wing , area she covers ..give her a bell. They are now expecting a call.

    Iv opened the door.

They are supportive and will represent you.

Ring now..hes in. Don’t be shy he’s a lovely guy.
