Eleven Youngsters Sign New Deals At Newcastle

The club have announced that eight youth players have signed new contracts at the club in addition to three youngsters who have signed their first professional contracts.

Here are the tweets announcing the deals.

The eight young players who have signed new contracts are: goalkeeper Nathan Harker, defender Lewis Cass, forward Thomas Allen, defender/midfielder Owen Bailly, left-back Liam Gibson, midfielder Mo Sangere, left-back Oliver Walters, and defender Stefan O’Conner.

We did a report yesterday on three of these youngsters as they have been called up to train with the first team at the start of pre-season. Those players are Thomas Allen, Nathan Harker, and Mo Sangare.

Also signed to their first professional contracts are right-back Ryan Barrett, goalkeeper Dan Langley, and central midfielder Jack Young.

Ryan Barrett had announced signing his contract on his own Twitter page.

We wish all of these youngsters congratulations and the best of luck!

Karl Darlow is reportedly the subject of interest from Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

Sky Sports claim that the stopper, who Newcastle value at around £4million, is being eyed by the Ewood Park outfit.

There’s too much going on for me to believe that BZG aren’t trying to push a deal through. Think about it. We’ve got potential buyers who have said they want to purchase the club and invest in the city and, despite what seems like many attempts by Ashley to scupper that deal, are still in the game. There are planes from the region landing in Newcastle then going to London with Ashley’s plane there at the same time. They’re trying to strike a deal.

I also think that the lack of effort on the part of the club to bring someone in is also telling. Yeah, supposedly Charnley has a list of managers he’s vetting for the role but no one really wants that shit job and if he was selling up it becomes someone else’s problem. If Ashley were staying I think he’d at least try to put a front up. This is the guy who put together architects drawings to scam Rafa but there’s absolutely nothing. Not even a notice to say they appreciate the lack of manager and they’re extending the deadlines for renewal. And this has me scared a little..

What if this is Ashley’s final goodbye? The sharp kick in the bollox to the fans he hates. He let’s renewals lapse on tickets and the day after, signs the club over to new owners. There’d be a rush to get tickets and people who’ve been long standing ST holders are now scrambling to get their tickets back. Then these people who have put up with all the crap for the last 12 years but still gone to the matches find themselves missing out on a new era at the club.

I’m not saying this to put the fear of God in people, I honestly think if you’ve given up in protest then you’ve 100% done the right thing. I just don’t trust the snake who owns us at the minute.

When MA finally gets dragged away from the club you think the first thing the new guys do is make sure old ST holders are at the front of the que ?
    Nice bit of free PR

Problem is MA needs dragging away , the protests will help

BZG could well put fans who’ve not renewed to the front of the queue. Not exactly sure how you’d do that if they went on general sale though.

Ashley is a swine, has absolutely no respect for and if there’s one thing that I do know about the bloke is that he doesn’t take defiance well. Sticking his fingers up at fans and photographers?

I’ve said since day 1 he’d not leave without kicking fans in the nuts.

I worry that eventually, somebody will get hurt. It only takes one nutter to go on the rampage. People have dished out death threats to Mashes family in the past. You just wonder if somebody is mad enough to try and do him in, and end up hurting an innocent person instead. No one deserves to be killed over any of this, not even Ashley

How would you sell them backwards in time? New owner comes in and there are ST’s to be bought, people are going to clamour for them. Fairly straightforward logic but that’s not your strong point.

Tony….you are starting to resemble Toon22 in a way, repeating accusations and not paying attention to the responses.
This is a footy blog, not the Old Bailey and you aren’t the prosecution, Bobby has clarified his position a couple of times now and instead of taking note, you are ranting and looking hysterical.
Essentially, the underlying fact is, the focal characters in your tirades, are generally liked on the blog, you are rapidly becoming disliked.

So, now I am the only one to call Boobybee a hypocrite and not hero after he has said the same thing for 3 years about going to the match no matter what anybody says? Or what Ashley does. SUPPORT THE TEAM, NOT THE REGIME. Am I the hypocrite or is he?

It is all he has left – he said.

He would never give it up – he said

Spent 100k, 500k 1 million words on here saying that.

That chopper has been sub-let to the military numerous times recently, apparently. I think it’s heading up to BAE in Barrow, certainly up to the North West. It was at BAE last week.

Ashley still has priority access to it, mind. If it heads from Shirebrook to Newcastle airport like it did earlier this week, that has to be him or related to him.
