Report – Championship Club After Newcastle United Goalkeeper

Sky Sports is reporting that Blackburn are interested in bringing in Karl Darlow this summer.

The report says that Blackburn see Darlow as the replacement for David Raya, who is reportedly close to a move to Brentford.

Karl has just one year remaining on his contract at Newcastle. While he has stated in the past that he is very happy on Tyneside, he just has not played much since Martin Dubravka joined in January 2018.

In fact, he made just one appearance last season in the League Cup as Freddie Woodman was preferred to start in the FA Cup.

We are not sure if Newcastle would offer Karl a new contract or if he would even accept one. But now is the time to make that determination as Newcastle will not want to let him run out his contract.

Karl Darlow– drawing the interest of Blackburn Rovers

Darlow is a pretty reliable back up although he does not really match the skillset of Martin Dubravka very well.

Newcastle would likely be able to recoup the £4m they paid Nottingham Forest for him in 2014 when he was bought along with Jamaal Lascelles.

Darlow has made just 59 appearances since his loan spell ended at Nottingham Forest in 2015. He is just 28-year-old which is young for a keeper nowadays, so he it be best for him to go to a club where can player regularly.

I gave up my family enclosure season tickets when Dutch Steeeeve was appointed. From the Midlands was an epic round trip but was worth it. Just couldn’t give the FCB my money any more.
Lol Keys is a hairy handed misogynistic professional bell end.

Steve Wraith who you all seem to hate is now head of the group that you are all joining.

But he doesn’t want to boycott, which is the main theme on here?

    Tony

In order to explain anything to you there would need to be a change, and you can’t handle that.

You would need to shut up and actually listen for once.

Go back and read every response you’ve had to your seemingly endless tirade, this crusade that all posts must come with a full and frank explanation, the incessant demands for people to answer to you.

You may be a really decent bloke, I certainly used to think so, but in alienating everyone and appointing yourself as some overlord of the blog you are making yourself look foolish.

NUFC managing director Lee Charnley has returned to the UK after spending time in Europe this week.
With the Magpies searching for a new manager and summer signings, it is understood Charnley has held meetings with a host of agents and contacts.

11 players suffering or 52000 and the entire Geordie nation suffering, I know what I choose!

A small sacrifice for 1 game, I’m sure the team will understand and get over it.

Plus theres the added bonus the players wont get booed.

I don’t care if we are relegated, and relegated again if it means getting rid of Ashley. It’s about the future of the club not the future of this particular team. Teams come and go, as do owners, we are here forever.

I am listening to Rafa saying he loves Newcastle and then taking the Chinese gold and running off as fast as he could on the day his contract ended.
