Strange Report – Newcastle Striker On His Way To Spain But Move Could Be Prevented By Jose Mourinho?

El Gol Digital are reporting that Joselu is on his way to Alaves and that Jose Mourinho will become the next coach at Newcastle United.

This is all in the same article and we are very doubtful of its authenticity. The article is based around the premise that Joselu will move to Alaves to replace stiker John Guidetti who is set to be released. However, the pending hire of Mourinho could throw the transfer into doubt as Mourinho may pull the plug on Joselu’s move.

The reason given is that the report seems to think Mourinho rates Joselu due to their time together at Real Madrid. Currently, there are no other reports of any of this information even that John Guidetti is about to be released.

There is also news on Twitter that Joselu is currently at the an airport. We again don’t know when this picture was taken.

There was news yesterday that Jose Mourinho turned down a massive offer to coach in China. Also there were reports that there was now a maximum bet restriction placed on Jose Mourinho to NUFC.

We are not sure what to make of all this right now. It is just getting stranger by the hour.

    Repost;

Jib- that is very interesting. It does make it appear that Mourinho is only waiting on assurances that he has freedom to dictate transfers and such. It also appears as if Deportivo Alaves is worried that Mourinho might fancy keeping Joselu as he was the manager that gave him his chance in Real Madrid. Add this to the fact that Joselu has been pictured in Newcastle airport and it is looking positive. Also the fact that Joselu mentioned a while back that new owners were on the horizon. Looks promising.

Slow down Neil, I’m trying to have my say and can’t keep up with you !

If you want maximum impact from a PR perspective you choose your moment and your location…..where better than in China with the Premier League Asia Competition featuring global brand Manchester City, London boys West Ham, Wolves (new kids on the block) and the powerful Newcastle United….sponsored by guess who, Chinese betting giants Fun888 who would gain massive cudos and exposure from this type of launch event.

So when the team appear for their official photo shoot for the competition in China they are introduced to the new manager one Jose Mourinho. This achieves maximum global exposure for the competition, Chinese football and also benefits Sports Direct who have the intent to build an expanding retail, online and property portfolio in China and London where Chinese investment is moving to while the Chinese economy adjusts before further expansion in the next ten years.

Mourinho with a backdrop of Sports Direct banners and exposure has Ashley modus operandi all over it – publicity and media exposure you just couldn’t buy to the largest market in the world. The exclusive will not be with The Shields Gazette it will be with Chinese media. This is culturally important for them.

BZG can be alongside or follow this up with the second major announcement that they are the new owners. Help us if it’s a joint announcement of a “cooperation” and that BZG are only investing in a share of the club.

First match is Wednesday 17th July.
Team fly out this Friday 12th so expect warm up training under Neil Redfren for a couple of days.
Serious business starts Monday 15th July.

Anything else in the meantime is white noise, a distraction, counter intelligence, guff.

Chill this week and BBQ over the weekend, prepare for Monday 15th July. You can Fun888 bet on it.

    I should add:

Wolves are owned by Chinese conglomerate Fosun
Man City purchased third tier Chinese team Sichuan Jiuniu
West Ham – Marko Arnautovic has been sold to Chinese club Shanghai PSG for £23million
Newcastle United – Chinese links ? Well we sold our Manager Rafa Benitez to Dalian Yifang

So just how did we get invited to this party…..?
Must be missing something that links us with China other than Ashley’s ambitions over there.

PP Sports Digital Media Company are the exclusive broadcaster for the Trophy in China – downside is that Mourinho is over there , is he one of their pundits ? …can he do that after he’s announced as the new NUFC manager or is that even more good publicity for all those involved ?

The BZG quote is official from the CEO. It was deemed preferential to release through social media. Media sources will then pick it up, more importantly fans would initially.

My only doubt is if that photo is an old one of when he arrived in Newcastle when he was about to sign for us. Can anyone find the photos of when Joselu first arrived, as that black hoodie looks awfully familiar.

We simply don’t want an owner fronted by Kenyon.
A number of Yank hedge funds on the make.
Is Ashley selling assets. It gets the price down for Kenyon.
Ashley keeps the Perez money and proceeds from any other sales.
Probs with ongoing obligations to Ashley.

Jp thats newcastle airport upstairs for sure, was in there on friday.

I reckon the takeeover will be announced next 48 hours.

Monochrome, shiftings company house, lightly veiled statement today, nufc saying perez clause met(as they are under an embargo, and thats the only way u can sell if a clause in players contract is met), helicopters and planes from middle east back and forth, press rooms being set up, jose knocking back 100m, charnleys missus spouting off, joselu spouting off, joselu transfer delayed for legal reasons, joselu in airport, photos of HOT, no national or local press reporting WHAT SO EVER (other than ryders uninformed pathetic bull),

Need i go on. Its happening boys, hold tight and stay patient.

I know we’re all trying to stay positive but theres not many straws left to grasp.

The latest statement doesnt make much sense as if the deal was as described the deal would be completed.

I cant see a sale going through, this just seems a exercise in lessening the blow.

What about that Duncan Castles guy who first broke the story? Where are his contacts now?
    Still nothing from the club…
This is all insane and could only happen at Newcastle.
    Im so sick of it.

Maybe its because they listen to his shows, he is a sports journalist, maybe no one here has heard of him is because said show is in DUBAI ffs. I dare say you’ve never heard his show, cos sure as shit i havent. I’ve never thought hang on lets try and tune in to capital radio dubai.

Think about it, he may have had dealings with them before and they’ve thought, he’s a geordie, an nice guy, lets give him our exclusives. I’ve no reason to doubt him, as micky said earlier spreading bullshit over there is massively frowned upon. Why would he risk his job, reputation and possibly behind exiled or worse, to spread a load of bull on twitter. I’m pretty sure if it was all bull he would have been taken off air immediately.

    I still believe
