Will Newcastle United Sign Manchester United Youth Prospect?

Tribal Football have a report out that Manchester United youth player Mipo Odubeko will not sign a new contract to remain with the Red Devils.

The sixteen year old striker was called up to play for the Republic of Ireland U17 team in March. He is also eligible to play Nigeria internationally.

The report states that both Newcastle and Burnley are looking to sign the youngster if he does in fact leave Manchester United.

There is also interested from Dutch sides Feyenoord and Utrecht as well as Genoa in Italy.

The youth academy is in need of an injection of talent with only Sean Longstaff and Paul Dummett to break through in recent years.

We hope that Newcastle are monitoring all situations like the one of Mipo Odubeko and are ready if any of these highly touted youngsters become available.

He has the final say on everything Jib, that’s why Rafa left really. He could live with the money, but he needed to buy the players he needed, not ask permission. Ashley speaks and Penfold runs.

Denis Wise and graham Carr are football consultants and are hired to feed Ashley, not charnly, with the required information. I can’t see how Ashley is not involved

there is a way that would bring the city to a standstill, block all roads leading to st james park, it will stop cars coming in plus buses, there wont be any access from the metro to st james the fans would block them all off, can you imagine what the police would do and the council there would be hell on and all fingers pointed at good old mike ashley he wouldnt know where to put himself, the fa and league would fine ashley as well for not getting the game started who would break through any of them barriers there be supporters people from the city all together as one, the thing is getting it done which is a totally different matter, i reckon if this happens it would finish ashley off big style

Apart from some Steve Bruce press nonsense brought on by Sky Bet manipulating the odds nothing has changed.

Takeover is still imminent, I’ll believe it until I’m officially told otherwise

While all of this unfolds it’s got three positive things for us toon fans

If there was any doubt this will finally put to bed any notion of Jabba being a businessman, he’s not got s clue and probably proves any business would benefit from him being not being involved

While the obvious car crash develops it’s going to be s nice big chunk of bad pr for his tat shops

And lastly once the legislation is passed will be s nice easy investigation for the government

    Bell End
I was referring to the coaching side of things
Ashley is clearly engaged with the big picture
club sale etc. but as far as running team affairs
I think Charnley is given a free hand.
Do you think he chose Carver ? I don’t
from Carver onwards it has be LC
Rafa’s agent Manuel García approached Charnley direct.

Look I was saying from the get go Redfearn or Moyes or Keane would be Ashley’s go to yes men managers. I was close because 2 of the 3 managed Sunderland and the other is an interim appointment in the vein of Carver, now it looks nailed on to be Bruce (former Sunderland mgr) but if it isn’t Bruce in the end watch for Moyes he’s who I really thought we’d be getting because he’d be hungry to get a look into the Prem again and he has something to prove.

I said there isn’t going to be a sale it’s all PR of the funhouse variety Ashley keeps running.

I said transfers would be last minute poor quality cheap buys or loans.

I believe I’m being/ about to be proved right.

Until Ashley sells this is the state of the club. A permanent air of anarchy that’s disruptive to players and managers and poisonous to fans. For example, not one of us can say e’ll get another striker in because Ashley may be happy with Gayle / Muto a promoted U23. That’s where we are now.

While crucial time passes all we can do is speculate. Here’s mine: something went wrong with the deal. It’s now in limbo. This is why Ashley hadn’t done anything about Rafa leaving. It was because he thought the deal would be completed by the time Rafa left and a new manager would be somebody else’s problem. Now he’s in a panic to get a new head coach so Charnley is running around begging people to take the job.

    Bobby
I understand your ire but I think like McClaren
Bruce is a pure Charnley idea – I don’t think
Ashley is that engaged with NUFC these days
to come up with managerial suggestions.

I did look into it once, and there are indeed laws against deliberate mismanagement of a company. Applying those laws to a football club could be tricky, but surely some clever lawyer who happens to be a toon fan could make a case.

    Currently we don’t have

    A manager
    Some Coaches
    A team
And it seems an owner ( he ran away again)

It’s not even clear if we’re still going

If the deal doesn’t go through there is no plan B from Ashley. He has no clue what to do now other than carry on as he always has. Hire a flunky as head coach (I hope it’s not Bruce but that’s more to do with where we’ll end up in the league), sign players 25, and under and flog anybody who he can get a good price for, and slam the potential buyers saying they were never serious in the first place.

Mike Ashley isn’t as daft as he seems. When we’re relegated next year he isn’t going to be able to sell us. We’re also gonna need at least £100 million worth of investment just to get out of the Championship. Even he knows this, I honestly think he WANTS us to fail. He hates us! It’s the only explanation. Why would you allow your own company to be ran like this, it just doesn’t make sense.
