Football Insider are reporting that Kyle Scott will undergo a medical at Newcastle United.
Kyle Scott was said to be signing for Newcastle in a report in the Sun early last month. That report stated that Scott would join Newcastle on a free once his deal at Chelsea expired on June 30th.
Pete O’Rourke with Football Insider has written the following:
Midfielder Kyle Scott is set to undergo a Newcastle United medical and complete a move to the club in the next 48 hours, Football Insider can reveal.
A Newcastle source has told Football Insider that Scott, 21, is poised to sign a three-year contract after accepting the club’s offer to join on a free transfer.
The U20 US international can play both defensive and attacking midfield positions. But he would most likely be one for the future.
He is just 21 years old but has not had much experience beyond the Chelsea reserves.
He was on loan at second division Dutch side SC Telstar for the first part of last season but that loan was ultimately terminated. He had made 14 appearances for the club.
This would be the first summer signing for Newcastle and if true, could happen while the club remain without a manager.
Steve Bruce made comments earlier today that a decision on his future depended on both clubs reaching a compromise and that something could be decided in the next couple of days.

Comment #126Someone mentioned Keith Bishop earlier, well I can give you a little hint why Newcastle United is in deep sh*te and it has nothing to do with the sale price but rather a rancid cesspool of money laundering scum in control of the club.

Comment #128There is a litany of insults the fat twat has thrown at us over the years. I think some fans must think that this is normal behaviour.

Comment #129Great to support, great to associated with instead of a sense of what has now become a grinding wariness of impending doom until the next avoidable calamity. A club doesn’t have to have a list honours such as Liverpool or Real Madrid to induce a feeling of greatness.

I fully understand what you are saying but you are wrong it’s the honours list that illuminate a clubs greatness.

“We would be a laughingstock” !
I’ve got news for you! We already are because of the attitude of fans like you! This man has no fckin conscience when it comes to money; he has lied to us for years and to all the managers who worked for him.
Every bit of negative publicity hurts him. Remember how he cringed when his employees at the SD warehouse kicked off?
Please don’t knock our efforts to rid the club of this curse.
One thing for sure; your approach will never get rid of him!
Have you got any ideas?
