Newcastle Target Has Been Put Up For Sale And Priced At €15m

Inside Futbol have a report claiming that new AC Milan manager Marco Giampaolo has put Uruguayan left-back up for sale for €15m.

Newcastle have been linked with the player since this past January as a reinforcement for the troublesome left back slot. The latest link to the player was just three weeks ago.

Back in January, Calcio Mercato had come out and claimed that Laxalt was not too impressed with Newcastle. Newcastle were third bottom at the time.

We are pretty sure his impression of Newcastle has not improved much since them.

Laxalt made his big move to AC Milan just this past summer for €17m. He managed only 6 starts for I Rossoneri while starting 32 games the season before at Genoa.

Diego Laxalt– available for reasonable fee

The player has been reluctant to move so far as he seemingly wants to stay and fight for his place at Milan. He may have been hoping the new coach would give him an opportunity, much like some of our current crop of players will be hoping.

However, the new coach has put him up for sale so he may now be resigned to leaving.

Last season did not go well for Diego under then manager Gennaro Gattuso, who is still available and was loosely linked to Newcastle in May.

It was always an unlikely link because Gattuso is a resolute and fiery individual and someone that Ashley would find hard to manipulate.

We are not too sure on this player now that Rafa is gone and he seems a bit lukewarm about Newcastle as well.

There is also news today that Torino have started negotiations for the player. So this is most likely another target that can be crossed off the list.

Andy Carroll haha, he’s well over the 25 year old limit, absolutely no sell on value, 100k a week and is hugely injury prone …. Can’t see Charnley signing that one off , Ashley would give him a right rodgering

I’ve been busy since Friday and theres been thousands of posts it’s hard to keep up.

I did have a scan through mind and some of the posts are mind blowing, seem to be some really bitter people out there and I’d struggle to call them fans of the club or the blog.

I’m avoiding ssn etc as I cant stand the thought of Bruce, it makes my skin crawl, I’d nearly prefer Oneil.

What a shit circus we’ve become, I’m going to clean the house to cheer myself up.

After three days of rage and disbelief I have finally dredged up a piece of optimism. Mainly it looks like they don’t plan on Bruce being the boss for a long time. If he gets a one year contract on £20,000 then it seems they are expecting him to be replaced in the next couple of months. The pay off will only be one million if a new owner wants to bring in a premiership quality manager. Also reinstating Carr is wise when you have a manager as shocking as Bruce so he can’t do any damage with the budget. At least Carr would buy decent players who the next manager might want or who can be sold on. Bruce would buy duds, journeymen and has beens who we will be stuck with. Bruce must know this, but believes/ hopes he can get off to a winning start and resurrect his failing career. I’m guessing if he somehow stays and somehow gets us in top ten they’ll pay him closer to £100,000 a week which is why he’s coming.

The bad news is the takeover is clearly nowhere near completion. If it was a matter of days or one week they would hang on to Redfearn or allow the Shiek to bring his man in now. I think there are other bidders lurking, lets hope one of them gets it sorted before Bruce takes us down as he is likely to do. It’s now looking like it’s going to be October/ November for a takeover, but if Bruce has us rock bottom then the bidders may pull the plug. Another Ashley gamble that will probably backfire.

Alot of options are on the table.
All takes funding though, if there was a crowdfunder setup by the magpie group to fund activitys like that.
If it was setup would people be willing to donate. As this would be used for action.

Tsunki, i’m warning you now so understand it clearly. If you persist in lying to fellow nufc fans on this blog about my opinion on mike ashley i’ll take it up with Ed. I want a club that maximises its potential as much as anyone. I want ashley out as much as anyone. He is pure scum. You spent years misrepresenting what i was saying about rafa benitez to this blog. Dont even think about trying it with regards to our scumbag owner. Do you understand me Tsunki?
