Newcastle have tweeted out the following two sets of pictures of the squad training in Nanjing.

In one of the photos, we see young Elias Sorensen in action with Matt Ritchie and Rolando Aarons.

They have also sent out the following two-minute clip of the squad in training.

The depleted Newcastle squad will play Wolves on Wednesday. China’s time zone is seven hours ahead of England’s so the game will kick-off at 6PM in China, 11AM in England, and 6AM in the States.

It doesn’t really matter who is manager, this pre season is and will be a shambles. The whole point of pre season is for players to gain fitness and for the manager to have a rough idea what team should be starting the season.

Even if Bruce signed today, he’d need to get a visa to get into China and by the time he gets there its probably time for the lads to come back.

If Schar/Dubs and whoever get sold, that money is going straight into fatty’s pocket and it’ll continue to be like that as long as he is here.

Going to be interesting to see how the lads perform in the friendlies after the gross mismanagement of the last couple of months.
Morale must be at an all time low.

Didn’t we get humped 6-0 by Crewe or someone like that in a friendly a few years back?

Go count the main picture and ask yourselves how many players truly are first steamers,And then you will realise how many should be nowhere near the first team.
Embarrassingly inept at all layers of Nufc

It’s noticeable there aren’t a lot of happy smiley faces in that group photo.

The future doesn’t look ower clever! Another master class from Ashley and Barnes.

De ja Vue here but this starting to remind me of that preseason a few years ago when they went to the USA and it was so badly arranged they were all knackered and jet lagged when they got back and no one could understand the point of it .
Contrast that to the sessions in Ireland where the players bonded and came back ready to go .
    Only this club

If, and it’s only an if at the moment, more of the team decide to leave, it has to be the moment that the supporters make that same decision.
There are ways of continuing to follow your club other than to attend the matches.

if the club sells any more of the players that will really get the fans going mad, the boycott of the arsenal match we will really see a massive difference in attendance, ashley has played to many games with the fans as well as the whole city, what i say is this empty stadium for all the home games, nothing sold during the games nothing sold in his shite direct crap tat shops and the others he owns or has shares in them, lets all make his life a living misery like hes done to us over the past 12 years he deserves everything he gets

    Just catching up a bit.

Jail – I think he has factored in relegation and feels he has a war chest to get us back if it happens. Also, parachute payments. Aim for 10th and in a good year you’ll be 10th. In an ok year you’ll be 15th. In a bad year, one in 7, you’ll get relegated.

Lee Bung – House in France eh for OMC. Well, I was eluding to something like that but didn’t want to just come out and say it. Thanks – I knew someone would.

Murphy looks like he can’t believe his luck ( his auntie said he was happy about Rafa leaving as he felt he’d get more game time ..and him and brother claimed to be nufc fans)
Aaron’s epitomises everything wrong in Modern football, even has the wash bag to prove it and still has his head phones in…maybe listening to some tony Robbins motivational podcast ?
Colback just a smug mackum who is looking forward to his old gaffer making him skipper

    Why not Pulis.

Seriously if you have no ambition and you want to appoint that type of manager.
Bruce Prem win rate 28%. Pulis 30%. Rafa at the Toon last 2 years 31.5%.
    No compo to pay.

If you asked the clowns at NUFC why SB is in the frame I bet they could not tell you.
His name has probably been put forward by whoever.
May be there is a house in France in it for somebody.
The daft owner will get ripped off again.

More likely, someone knows Bruce and gets on with him. Knackers like to surround themselves with fellow knackers. That’s what happens when you get your Casino mates to run a business/club.

Analysts suggesting that delayed SD accounts mightn’t look too good.

    Couid that see cost-cutting?

Ah, but advertising’s expensive. Now where could Ashley get international advertising for minimal spend?

Might that explain Ashley’s desire to have free or near free advertising included in an NUFC? takeover?

Just google HoF and look at the news section, stores that he promised to keep open closing everywhere, he’s taken his years free rent and his cut price stock and ran, he had no intentions whatsoever of keeping those stores open past a year, surely the government have to call him out.

    No owner
    No manager
No one to score the goals we need

    Relegation for sure..

There is no direction for this group of players..

You can almost tell watching that short video from the training session, that the lads are in som sort of twillight! They are running around on automatic pilot.. it is very obvious actually.

When we had the 5th place finish and all ambitious fans expected us to move on from that, did not the slug spoil it all by only allowing 1 close season signing,Anita.
He showed us then that he did not want to strengthen that overachieving squad to compete in Europe and we struggled next season.
This time we have rid ourselves of the best manager since Sir Bobby and our top strikers just to guarantee no European competition gets in the way of our normal target of just not getting relegated.
As for Bruce being manager,we are gouing to make doubly sure we struggle in the P/League once again.
No cup runs are allowed either.
AslhLie fans on here seem to be content to carry on with that and you know who you are……
Whats the point of going to watch a team that does not want success.
Its like eating out at a place where you know the food is not good ,but you keep going back for more.
The great times we had at this club were not winning things but competing to win things at least.I had some of my best experiences following my Toon.
Only the Fairs cup to show for it,sad i know but i had the cup runs and trips to Wembley as well though not as winners but great times just the same.
This is the only greatness for this club, not like Manure or Mancs or Liverpool or Arsenal or Chelsea and even include Spurs now.
Fans want mediocrity buy the slugs tat and turn up at the ground in your thousands week after week.
