Press Quickly Knock Back Claims Of Bruno Genesio To Newcastle – It Was Fun While It Lasted

Aaron Stokes and Damian Spellman are pouring some cold water on the recent wildfire that was started with a French report that Bruno Genesio was due to be announced as the next Newcastle United Manager.

Aaron Stokes is a reporter from the area but works as a journalist for the Daily Star. This is what he tweeted earlier when the news of Genesio had just started to break.

Press Association reporter Damian Spellman has also followed suit and just tweeted this.

It just goes to show you how poor of an appointment Steve Bruce is that this news was so exciting.

Here is some of the reaction to the initial report that Bruno Genesio was in line to become the next Newcastle manager.

But ultimately it looks like this tweet may sum the reaction on Tyneside the best.

I was talking to a lifelong Gooner and there is a big movement towards a boycott but like us a lot will not take notice of it!
It should be interesting though if the home and away fans are both protesting about the ownership. Apparently Kroenke is like Ashley in that he expects to show a profit and is reluctant to invest in the team!

Arsenal fan on TalkSport said their top two targets are Zaha from Palace and a defender from Celtic and they can’t afford either of them. Still could be worse they could have Mike Arse-Lie as an owner

Reading a Tsunki post always makes me think of a clockwork orange lol

What’s with all the aggro on here you would think there isn’t too much to fall out over given how undeniably awful everything is.
