Club Announce New Sponsor For Premier League Asia Trophy

The club have announced a new sponsor for their two games in the Premier League Asia Tour. The first of which is against Wolves and will kick-off in a few hours.

The sponsor is a Chinese sports data app called National Sports and will replace FUN88 for these two upcoming preseason matches.

This is part of the announcement from the club:

National Sports – which is a comprehensive professional sports data app in China – replaces FUN88 for the tournament following an agreement with the Magpies’ primary sponsor.

The app gives users a bespoke experience, using their preferences to provide comprehensive, diverse sports information and analysis of players and teams, as well as interactions with likeminded fans.

Dale Aitchison, head of commercial at Newcastle United, said: “We are pleased to be partnering the National Sports app and to be building on our appearance at the Premier League Asia Trophy by strengthening commercial relationships.

“National Sports is all about giving fans access to stats which bring the game to life, so it is a great fit to coincide with our matches in front of passionate Chinese supporters.”

Here are the four preseason matches the club have as arranged by Rafa Benitez.

Can’t seem to find anything on search engine about ‘national sports app’ so very convenient that they have the same colours as sports direct.

Good to see Ayoze scoring on his debut. Looking forward to see him do 20+ goals, making his international debut and then being sold to Barcelona for 85 million at the end of next season where he will be joined by Mikel Merino.

    …ohh what could have been…

    t’s a moot point.
Shearer never stopped twittering on about BZG and all matters NUFC but now he’s on Silent Running.
    Why ?
Is he the mediator between Chumley and mate Bruce ?

Would someone who uses Twitter like to check when he last tweeted ?
Let us know that you’re safe Alan

Bills son, I was trying to engage you in reasonable conversation when all around were shouting abuse at you. In return, I was labelled ‘arrogant’.

I have no intention of stepping in and giving you a platform again. As I say, you’ve burnt your bridges.

If that makes me arrogant, then so be it. I really can’t be bothered to argue the point.

Interestingly he hasn’t tweeted once about the SB situation…or any takeover related news :/

This sponsor is Sports Direct in Mandarin. They lied about it, as usual, this time via social media. There are absolutely no depths the fat parasite won’t sink to.

    Robleenio,

    You burnt your bridges.

You’ve got enough intelligence to know that your replies where contradictory at best and sheer fabricated nonsense at worst.

The exchanges I posted are the facts.

Arrogant people will never admit they were wrong.

Just sent the pic to a mate’s Chinese wife asking her to translate it, she said all it says is “Support”. I wonder how long before it comes out who the actual sponsor REALLY is.

Billson you would know…. or do you admit you were wrong all those years you put the tapeworm on a pedestal and constantly defended his appalling running (down) of our great club.

lochinvar, it’s not the first time Shearer has been mentioned. Specifically his silence. Looks like he’s not tweeted anything directly related to the club since he replied to Lineker about Ayoze Perez.

Certainly nothing critical of the club but I’ve gone back to April and I can’t find anything on there which is critical of the club at all.

Bills son, yes they were contradictory, it’s called debate. That’s where two grown ups have a conversation and each one puts their side of the argument without resorting to name calling.

You can probably add condescending to the arrogant charge now.

Anyway, I’m done, you crack on mate but I’ll not be getting involved again.

Trying to make sense of everything and consider facts that we know.
Ashley said 2015 from now on we make our own luck. Also said every last penny generated.

I have continued to support. 10 year scheme, half of next years ticket already paid for.

What has Mike Ashley said to me and others in response to our loyalty. Nothing.

Where do I see this going. Get ready. An Ellis Short style exit.

Nolan has contradicted himself sloppy from a PR point of view.

Last week MA was doing a great job.

This week SB is the best we can get because the glamour of the club has diminished.

Good to see you guys talking mental health. Been there done that got the demons to prove it. Mind you our choice of club helps none of us in that respect.

    naptoon,

I was wrong, I’ve changed my mind, I want him out.

I first stated that on here nearly four years ago after I hadn’t been on for the previous two.

I’ve posted on here 50+ times in the last couple of months I want Ashley out.

What is it about that that you don’t get?

Or are you one of those elite people who have never ever changed their mind about anything??

Is Bruce just a stooge. A yes man taking 2-3 million a year to front up Ashley’s regime.
Well, his first press conference will be telling.
The Ladies and Gents of the press must then surely do their job.

What have you be promised Steve. Have you got money to spend ? Who’s picking the players ?
Do you have the final say on incomings ?

If all you get is blank looks and bollocks then we will know.
    Immediately we will know.
If the owner is serious about the appointment of Bruce he has to come out and back him.

My wife is also native Chinese (though has lived in the UK for a long time). Without any context I asked her to translate it and she told me “National sports”.

Doesn’t mean there’s nothing dodgy going on, but that is definitely the translation.
