Newcastle Looking To Beat Spurs To £30m-Rated Premier League Starlet

The Sun are reporting that Newcastle are chasing Burnley starlet Dwight McNeil. The speedy left-winger started 19 games for the Clarets last term.

He was able to bag 3 goals and added 5 assists in 26 total appearances in his first foray in the Burnley first team. The Rochdale born youngster left Manchester United for Turf Moor in 2014.

Dwight McNeil– priority for Newcastle transfer team

Newcastle were linked with the McNeil this past April in a Star exclusive.

This is what the Sun’s Alan Nixon has written about Newcastle’s interest in the youngster:

Newcastle want to grab Burnley’s £30million-rated starlet Dwight McNeil to kick-start Steve Bruce’s new era.

The Toon plan a signing spree and speedy winger McNeil is on their hitlist as they look for an injection of pace.

McNeil, 19, is valued highly by the Clarets after his sensational first season, following his decision to leave Manchester United to make his own way.

The Toon want to pay about £15m for McNeil, already a Spurs target and on Juventus’ watch list. So it is shaping up as a first battle for boss Bruce.

The deal has been a priority for the Newcastle transfer team for some time but they also have targets for other positions.

It does appear that Newcastle are very interested in the young winger. However, there is little chance of capturing McNeil for just £15m. With the player on both Spurs’ and Juventus’ transfer lists it may be hard to tempt McNeil to Tyneside.

Why would BZG be holding talks with us investors unless they dont have the money all along. Told you they were just as big of liars as Ashley.

Hmmm. Season ticket sales down. Appointment of a manager no one wants,. Well let’s pretend we will break our transfer record not once but twice. While we’re on let us also pretend that the club is about to be sold.
That should shift a few season tickets.

It is sometimes interesting when posters drift off and discuss other, non related football topics.
Topics where there are definitive answers.
Lot of football stuff is opinion – so who is right -who has knowledge of the issue – does an earlier opinion turn out to be right.
So from definitive subjects you can potentially gauge a person knowledge – which you may or may not wish to consider when assessing their opinions on football matters.

I am not sure whether our education system or indeed the education system in the Irish Republic are really fit for purpose I speak of course about the teaching of biology and being more specific entomology.

Some f**fing Irish pavier comes on here and talks about bites from male mosquitos. What a divvy bearing in mind it is the female of the species that bites, same as midges. Males feed on flower nectar.

Dear Toon 22, apologies for the late reply but unfortunately you have been unsuccessful in your 2017 application for the position of Trainee Manager with Sports Direct. Whilst your psychometric profiling revealed tenacity, the profiling also demonstrated a lack of flexibility, lateral thinking, creativity and cognitive reasoning. Unfortunately the email address you gave us “cheesypeasforme@halfwit.com’ is no longer operative but we would be happy to send you the details of the profiling to your home address in Seaham or your mothers address in Houghton Le Hole. Best wishes in your search for employment, The Talent Team at Sports Direct.
