Newcastle United have released a teaser of their new record signing Joelinton from Hoffenheim. This ends a week of speculation about the player’s imminent arrival to Newcastle.
Here is the teaser of pending the arrival of the Brazilian forward.

This is a big move for Newcastle who have finally had an incoming this transfer window. Newcastle are desperately short of quality upfront and have had four players leave the first team this summer.
Salomon Rondon, our player of the year, was not brought in on a permanent deal and has since joined Rafa Benitez at Chinese club Dalian Yifang.
Our leading scorer from a year ago Ayoze Perez joined Leicester City in a £30m move a few weeks ago while back-up striker Joselu also left for just over £2m to Alaves last week.
They join Mohamed Diame whose contract was not renewed and left on a free to Qatari club Al Ahli.
Joelinton comes with a lot of fanfare mainly over the fee that he has commanded. He is not really a direct replacement for either Rondon or Perez as he is kind of a hybrid between the two.
Newcastle will need to add another striker and wide forward in the coming weeks. They may also look at free agents with Andy Carroll, Danny Welbeck, and Charlie Austin all being linked over the past week.
We would expect that any free agent brought in would be in addition to another forward addition.
We are delighted to have Joelinton at Newcastle where hopefully he can integrate quickly into the squad and be a force this coming season.

Comment #44I’m still of the opinion that Mike Ashley is having some sort of mid life/health issues ..I reported him to the prem league and asked them if they could run a few tests to see if he satisfies the fit and proper owner criteria ..asked them to find out if he needed help as possibly the strain of running a Football club and having almost 3 Billions of ££££S pounds personal wealth in the bank was too much to take and was effecting his decision making ..well words to that effect !
They did say they were vigilant and are aware .

Comment #45It takes some people a long time to face reality. I knew what MA was about the minute KK walked.
His history is full of malpractices in every business he has touched. Get real people.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, the main antagonist on this blog is you. You always come on here and have an agenda against others that dont see things like you do.
I did come on here and slate some of the performances and tactics under rafa, I did the same for mcclaren, pardew, JFK, souness, etc. I did so as I wasnt happy with what I saw. At least I’ve been consistent though, I’ll do the same to bruce if I disagree with squad selection or tactics.
You on the other hand bought a season ticket because rafa was manager, he got you back to SJP and all you proved is that you’re naive in thinking Ashley had changed. You’re exactly the type of punter Ashley loves, hoodwinked into parting with your money. Well done mate.
Dont be bitter with me or others because rafa left, he didn’t leave because our toon had a go at his tactics in a certain game on a blog, he left as he got serious wedge from china and knew that Ashley would never change.
I’ve said many times it doesn’t matter who the manager is nothing will change as Ashley is the problem, remove the problem then look at a world class manager by backing him. I’d rather rafa left then be here for his own sake and so fans can actually concentrate on the issue which has always been lurking in the background which is Ashley.
You can always go to Dalian blog and support rafa there though as it seems you think nufc had become rbfc, he’s gone, long overdue time to get rid Ashley now though but that can only happen by standing together, not by fighting amongst ourselves as you seem to love to do.
