Fans Have Their Say On Sports Direct Tax Revelation

Newcastle United fans have responded in droves and in a creative fashion to the news of Sports Direct’s tax bill of over £600m.

There is sure to be some other revelations that leak out as financial gurus go through the recently released annual results. Monday morning will also be a bad day for Sports Direct shares.

While some Newcastle fans are worried about how this will affect the running of NUFC, many have just responded with some comedic jabs at the owner.

Here are some of the funnier ones that have been tweeted.

Maybe you should ask Neil and Ed if you can have final approval on all articles before they are posted.

You would have to be a blithering idiot to believe the traitor is better than Rafa
And an even bigger one to believe Jabba has ever tried to sell us
    Let’s hope this bankrupts him
Then we are a saleable asset

    Muz #20 last thread,

You said “NUFC is a company in its own right, Charney is a director. Major shareholder is in fact another company owned of which Ashley is the major shareholder”, which implies that SD own NUFC. I thought that MA owned NUFC AND was a major shareholder in SD. Which is it?
