Get French Football News is reporting that Newcastle have made an €8m bid for long-term target Stanley N’Soki.
Breaking | Newcastle United have bid €8m for 20-year-old PSG defender Stanley N’Soki, Les Parisiens want €15m – full story https://t.co/2DNMXm588U
— Get French Football News (@GFFN) July 27, 2019
The French left-back is said to now want the move to Newcastle as he has come to terms with the fact that his future will not be at PSG. He turned down a chance to join the Magpies last summer to stay in Paris and fight for his place.
There were reports earlier that N’Soki was available for €8m but those may not have been accurate. PSG could demand a fee as high €15m for N’Soki though may be willing to come down from that amount.
GFFN states the player has just one year remaining on his contract, however, N’Soki signed an extension last year so we believe his contract may run until 2021.
They also report that Newcastle could get N’Soki for an initial fee of €10m plus some add-ons. Southampton are also chasing the 20-year-old but want him on a loan with an option to buy which PSG are not willing to do.
Newcastle have been scouting N’Soki since he was sixteen years old and hopefully, they can get this one done this time.

Comment #8Rafa wanted wholesale changes to the way the club was ran , new training facility ( as previously promised ) and a wage increase …Ashley full of crap but was never going to give Rafa a bigger say in how club is ran.. cest la vie.
No to Carroll , takes up valuable squad spot to sit in sick room 75% of time and even in pay as you play his wages would be too high

Comment #13So, Steve Bruce walks out of the tunnel at Preston to choruses of “you’re just a fat Geordie B@stard”! He looks at his coaches and says, at least it wasn’t “Fat Mackem B@stard”. And does this suit make me bum look fat?
No, Steve, your bum makes your bum look fat.

“Every time with Rafa it was impossible – there was always another thing, and the next thing and the next thing.” Yes. Good managers don’t just settle. They push for more. They push for excellence. “I’m not a football expert,” Ashley says. No, but he employed one & now he’s gone.
We’ve seen and heard it all before. Each time he talks, he admits to making mistakes while making them all over again. “I probably shouldn’t own a football club,” he says. That’s definitely a concept to get behind.
“I could say to Lee Charnley, our managing director, I’ll have £10m, £12m. But a good custodian will make every penny count. No interest, no repayments.” In 2017/18, Newcastle repaid a short-term loan of £33m to Ashley. Short-term, yes. But still a repayment.

Comment #28The earlier comment by someone re SB saying that Sunderland have a great bunch of fans was a good one for him to make at the time, what else would you expect a manager of a team to make about a team he’s managing.
And to be fair they are a great bunch of fans, for Sunderland, they deserve both praise and pity given the shit they’ve been through for the past few seasons.
He’s now managing a team who also have a great bunch of fans, just hope he turns out to be a manager worthy of us.
