Newcastle To Win Race For Top Prospect

Alan Nixon of the Sun is reporting that Newcastle have won the race to sign young former Bolton goalkeeper Jake Turner. Turner is a free agent after he did not renew his contract with the Wanderers who are in acomplete mess at the moment.

Jake Turner was a top prospect who was being sought by Everton and Manchester United in 2018. At one point, Bolton even put a £4m when he was just 18 and yet to make any first-team appearances. He has been capped for England at the U19 level.

His star has waned a bit over the past year but hopefully, Newcastle can turn him into a top goalkeeper. This is a very good signing for Newcastle and Turner could be an exciting one for the future.

Reports of an €8M bid for N’Soki when PSG want €10M-€12M.

Reports of an €18M bid for Saint-Maximin when they want at least €20M.

Usual time-wasting, low-balling tactics from nufc to avoid proper strengthening and say “We tried”.
With a week left just pay the money ffs

Looks like those rumours of Joelinton starting against PNE were a load of hogwash. The lesson to be learned here is a rumour relating to Newcastle should not be believed!

Why another keeper unless we have swapped Dubs for Nsoki. If Dubs is sold were completely fkd.

jazzyp – and yet Ashley said ‘what’s the big deal about an extra ten million’ when talking about BZG buying his club. Seems he wants it both ways. Doesn’t want to pay an extra few million for players, yet expects the very same thing when he’s selling! What a dolt he is.

Scythe I always just seen comments or quotes that he would be involved not specifically starting. He will come on 2nd half I’m sure.

Had a really good spell the last 5 minutes. Hayden with a shot from long distance over the bar.

Shelvey then had a shot saved. Hayden then tried a nice flick from the subsequent corner.

Preston just had a great chance, Richie with a fantastic block.

Why Mike Ashley could snub Newcastle’s first home game as St James’ Park boycott expected

Have to say it’s been such a good day to hear from Ashley himself, on the charm offensive and trying to deflect blame elsewhere. The PR campaign is failing, season tickets down, talk of boycott is really starting to annoy him in my opinion.

Comments like I’d never sell Newcastle is to give us fans a warning shot that he wont be forced out. To me it’s a sign of weakness of a desperate man who knows maybe, just maybe I’ve gone a little to far this time.

Keep the faith and boycott Arsenal people.

Almiron can’t take penalties. Joelington should have taken it, it was he who won the penalty and his debut.

Ashley is not trying to deflect critisism towards the team and Bruce, why would he need to its not the agenda as they ain’t kicked a ball yet…you say Ashleys done a brilliant job at that with this interview in the mail ..

Ashley has and was deflecting from his first Love who are now in trouble ..Sports Direct .

In fact your trying to deflect from Ashleys interview.. I never thought you were totally defending Ashley in the past ..I do now.

You are not one of us Jib . Clearly .

Almiron had scored 5 out of 6 penalties in his career before today. A pretty decent return by any standards.
He missed one after only a couple of days back in training, hardly a crisis but don’t let the facts get in the way of your argument.
