Get French Football News is reporting that Newcastle have agreed on a fee for PSG left-back Stanley N’Soki. The fee is reported to be €11m (£9.8m) with a 20% sell-on clause. The player has yet to reach personal terms with Newcastle.
Breaking | Newcastle agree €11m fee with PSG for 20-year-old defender Stanley N'Soki, personal terms negotiations ongoing – full story https://t.co/YeBEXNjAl4
— Get French Football News (@GFFN) July 28, 2019
This would be excellent news if confirmed as Newcastle have chased the 20-year-old for quite some time. N’Soki will fill a pressing need to strengthen the left-back position and he can also play as a central defender.
We would also expect to see some clarification on the Allan Saint-Maximin front soon. It does appear that the player was brought on yesterday when Nice played Cardiff.

Mark Douglas had tweeted yesterday that he expected Saint-Maximin to be in the team by next weekend. So there is still some work to do but progress is being made.
'Allan Saint-Maximin should be on board by the time the team take on St Etienne – and Stanley N’Soki could follow him': https://t.co/XxzmECe7ts

Comment #9As that policy didnt get us relegated last time did it
When we go down weve got Jabba there to lend us the money to get promotion again
With us expected to pay it back
Jabba cant lose here, gets to gamble on players with us picking up the cost when he looses
What could go wrong

Comment #10Seems like a decent signing, if it’s finalised. Wonder how useful he will be as a LWB. Left backs who can also play CB tend to be more defensive than a wing back.

The only reason we have the age policy we do is because Jabba thinks it will make him more money
Its got nowt to do with football,us or ambition
Just Jabba gambling on players hoping to win big

Weve got the traitor to pull everything together
To mold the bunch of mercenaries Jabbas gambling on into a team thats good enough to stay in the league. We are literally hoping theres 3 teams worse than us next season
That how bad its gotten

Comment #15And I didn’t realise that the bus had already moved!!
To further explain the Bind Rune I sent to Rafa and use as my avatar that I now call The Toon Rune
The six runes I used are
Isa- To to meet and overcome challenges and also reinforce the other runes.
Sowulu Llife force, health, success and achievement.
Thunzas Self discipline, and protection.
Uruz Physical strength and speed.
Algiz Ward off bad influences, protection (of club and team)
Nautiz Endurance, survival, determination and Patience.
These are the intentions I put into the runes, for the benefit of the team, team manager and players. Not for Mr Ashley’s benefit although it could also result in a benefit to him. Sorry chaps but you can’t pick and chose side affects.
Each of the Runes forms part of the overall Rune pattern.

Comment #17How many of these so called “wonder kids” do PSG produce every season and do nothing when they get a move?
He’s hardly played a lot of football and it’s been in the French league for the dominant team he will have to do a helluva lot more defending than he is used to!!!

Comment #18This stinks of a Carr recommendation bet the French clubs and agents can’t wait to have Newcastle involved again trying to snatch all their players for nothing

Comment #24Lcbp, ye I wouldn’t be too hopeful he will be a hit at Newcastle either. I can’t believe no one has bough Phillip Max yet at 18M being the reported price, he really seems like a steal.
He will be worth about 80M in a year or two time if he goes to one of the big teams.

Comment #37Another gamble by the slug getting this youngster in for peanuts, just got to hope he can handle the prem.We still need another 4 or 5 quality signings if we have any chance of avoiding the drop and I don’t mean untested young prospects. We must get rid of the players that Rafa identified as being not good enough as well but I doubt it will happen.
