Donyell Malen is a Dutch forward who turned down a contract extension with Arsenal two summers ago and joined Eredivisie club PSV Eindhoven on a three-year deal.
Despite being a highly rated youngster, Arsenal were unable to convince Malen to resign with them. He opted to return to the Netherlands where this past season he was able to attain first-team football.
Malen is a right-footed forward who can play on either wing or upfront as a striker. He is an exciting young player who had an outstanding season for PSV this past year.
Donyell Malen– breakout season for PSV
Malen has just one year left on the contract he signed when he left Arsenal and he is being heavily scouted by West Ham.
This is a player who we feel should be on Newcastle’s radar due to his age and potential. We are not sure what fee he would command but with just the one year left on his contract, it should not be too high.
He would also fill a need for Newcastle as he is a versatile attacker. He also has been given the number 9 shirt at PSV which belonged to former Newcastle striker Luuk de Jong who has joined Sevilla this summer.
Here is the obligatory YouTube video of the player’s highlights.

Comment #93And while I appreciate some people are getting annoyed about the stock price patter on the blog, I’ll just add that Grant Thornton have come out and said that they were only told of the tax issue on Friday morning. That’s SD’s accountants, a firm paid by SD, throwing muck back at their client. That’s not a very common thing to see in business so I wouldn’t be surprised if this whole affair gets even messier. It sounds, (or reads), like SD tried to keep that tax revelation a secret to make their results look better. That is fraud and hence a criminal activity..

Comment #94IrishRob is the equivalent of Colback on the blog, effin pointless. No one gives a sh1t who posts first, actually try and contribute.
Nsoki would great balance, he’s very aggressive in the tackle and applies pressure. Pressing higher up the pitch is more vital these days.

Man Utd transfer news: Sean Longstaff wanted to join Manchester United last month (Image: GETTY)
The Newcastle ace remains on Manchester United’s radar but was posing for the club’s latest kit launch last week and Steve Bruce claims he is not for sale.
But the Manchester Evening News claim sources close to the midfielder wanted him to be a United player before the end of last month.
There is now just over a week left of the transfer window for United to sort out a deal.
They appear to be fighting a losing battle with Bruce claiming he will not be sold after Newcastle turned down a £30m bid.
You never want to lose your best young players, and I think we’ve made it pretty evident that we won’t,” Bruce told Sky Sports.
“We’re concentrating on Sean now, getting his knee right. It’s his 10th or 11th training session since he hurt his knee.
“I’ll just repeat what the owner said – he’s not for sale.”
did’nt put it all in it comes from the express…

Comment #104Jealousy over how many posts in a row he made?? DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK THAT!! Ok lol lol
The very reason I post first is to break up the arguing and nonsense that goes on here 24/7 by being flippant and posting a pointless comment .
I couldn’t care less about being first or how many comments in a row someone gets, what’s bothering me is people pretending to be nice to you but in reality they are actually just snakes with personal agendas.

Comment #106I cant believe ppl thought it would be doomsday for Ashley today, the news will come out soon that they’ve reached an agreement with Belgian authorities aswell.
It was a good day to get in earlier and buy shares in SD, if anyone did you’ll make a decent return depending on how much was invested

Trying to rewrite history
They’d written than Man B might be interested in Longstaff and wanted to steal him before they went on their preseason tour abroad. So no they’re trying to cover their backsides.
So now they’re rehashing the story to wind up NUFC and unsettle players and fans.
Man B is in crisis as they’ve slipped in the top clubs of the world ratings, didn’t win the Premier League , didn’t get into The Champions League and are doomed to be in the shadow of Pep and Man City, even before Pogba and co jump ship. The pressure on them to regain former levels of success is getting to them an OGS could be history very quickly when it all falls apart.
What’s more likely is that more clubs will take points off them than say Man City or Spurs or Liverpool so they’re facing a season of discontent and could be mid table. VAR will not help their cause either as that will balance out the key decisions that previously referees have been inclined to favour the bigger clubs with.
City of Manchester fans must love this that Manchester B are in turmoil.
There’s only one United
