French Club’s Coach Talks About Player Linked To Newcastle

Sport In A Storm has an article about SC Amiens’ plans in case Emil Krafth leaves the club for Newcastle this summer.

They have an interview with the club’s manager Luka Elsner who was just appointed one month ago. This is what Elsner has said about his Swedish right-back.

“Emil is a great professional

“We are a development club, which will inevitably have to deal with this kind of situation.

“There are no worries about him and his ability to handle events. For my part, I know there are things going on behind the scenes.

“Today, I’m on the field and what interests me are the players at my disposal.

“We will also bring in more talent, this is the reality of the club. The fact that players are being wooed is not a problem in itself.

“Going forward, solutions have been planned in case of departures and I think we are well equipped to face all possible events.”

It certainly does sound, from these comments, like Amiens are prepared to lose Emil Krafth this summer. Though the player just joined permanently from Bologna, he was their right-back last season while on loan.

The club just last week brought in veteran right-back Christophe Jallet, 35, on a free transfer. Jallet is a former French international and just left Nice this summer.

Newcastle recently had a bid of £4.6m rejected by the French club but Sport In A Storm has suggested that both sides are really close and a second bid could be forthcoming.

Though Get French Football News recently suggested that the clubs were far apart in their valuations of the player.

We do expect Newcastle to go in with a slightly improved bid for Emil Krafth. The player is a professional but the move to Newcastle is just such a big one for the 24-year-old.

We would expect Amiens to relent and allow the player to leave. The comments by the coach seem to suggest that is a very distinct possibility.

It will be interesting to see who, if anyone else, we bring in before the transfer window closes.

Looks like I had a comment removed on the last thread. Understandable, what with me being on here all day, every day saying the most offensive things and always looking for an argument!

I’ll take it calling out known homophobes ist verboten 🙂

It’ll be interesting to see just how high we bid for Krafth based on what Amiens just paid for him. Quick profit for them if it goes through.

Looks like Rafa’s record in China so far is W3/D1/L1. They’re playing again tomorrow. I know he’s gone now, but I’ll still be keeping an eye on his progress over there.

We are sniffing around Burnley’s 19 year old exciting
    left wing Dwight McNeil.
He has the same agent as Dwight Gayle and Andros Townsend
Dyche has slapped a £30M price tag on him which seems a bit
    high.
Perhaps a swap – Gayle and cash ?

We have literally hundreds of millions yet to spend
You think we have any chance of spending it ?

Where exactly will all of that cash vanish to ?

We has the money gone , that’s canny obvious

The PR would have you believe Rafa left due to his greed

Even if you ignore the fakeover shambles this transfer window is exactly the reason he left

The people buying and selling players are doing so for the personal profit of Jabba
They don’t care about the team

It’s gotten us relegated but they don’t care, Jabba simply don’t care

If we keep going along with it we are actually helping him doing it

He wants to bleed our club dry

No doubt about it your a 100% Ashley supporter.

Sickening really when you consider all we have been through with Ashleys Lies and deciet and mocking of the supporters he takes hard earned money from .

Coupled with your many many multiple names you are showing no respect to Ed and Neil and family .

    Your Stinking the place out.

    One thing is certain

Jabba don’t like protests, especially televised ones
He and his PR dont like the anti Jabba chants and singing, tried to call them all racists

After all those years we know exactly what he likes the least

    Mighty Wyn

Last thread – tnanks for empathy – I know from several posts since Rafa went that I am not alone ( nor part of some mythical unpaisd shill group) in my disatisfaction with where we are but expression of such is easily mistaken for antiboycott. Pro Ashley or whatever posters who can’t abide even some variation from the “Message” want to interpret. W

I have reverted to disatsfaction rather thand Depression on reflection as it makes light of that afflication and is perhaps too harsh a word . I agree with B& W Blood (I think) earlier that linking protest to MIners stike and scabs is inappropriate and with all due respect the protest is not of the importance of that massive fight for communities and livelihoods.

Yes Ashley is blighting lives but let’s get real with our analogies and leave out Hitler etc.

I can use hyperbole as well as the next poster suggesting last year that an unorganised Amageddon would arise if Rafa left which has proved to be a little extreme forecast literally- but ST sale drop and lack of interest in shirt has vindicated my excessive terminology perhaps – we are in a different world no doubt .

I think there wll be possibly some drift back with results and performances but for many if not most of the “lost” it will be a drawn out campaign of attrition and soured along the way until a buyer emerges.

Lies, manipulation, neglect, smoke & mirrors, incompetence, red herrings, patsy fall guys, needles degradation and veiled threats – the joys of having MA as an owner.

Using the club and abusing the fans knowing that our love for our club is hard to ignore. MA plays us by using our emotions against us.

No support for a decent manager because he is not a snivelling yes man. Blames said manager for leaving due to money. Brings in yes man. Give some money for transfers (but also sells). Transfer record broken with very little actual outlay for a player the decent manager did not want. Few signings to paper over the cracks and this actually brings some fans back on side. All on new manager – if goes wrong not MA fault as he broke transfer record, brought in players etc. Change yes men managers and plead to fans as MA is not a football man and relies on others.
    TV money? Check…
    Ticket money? Check..
    Merch money? Check..
Xmas takeover story all lined up…….

“I think i could own this club forever”

Those words chill me to the bone. A haunting threat to anyone who cares about NUFC.

And referring people here to a Mag article about a supporter who is sticking 2 fingers up to the boycott and many people’s combined efforts to send Ashley a message and in support of him, flies in the face of the true fan and the many ex pros and ex managers and current pros and managers who have spoken out against Ashley ..and your in support of anyone boycotting the boycott and going to the Arsenal match !

You are also referring us to “The Mag”, in the past you have slagged anyone off from the mag sticking links on here !
