Report – Transfer Decision On Frenchman To Be Decided Today

Andrew Musgrove in the Chronicle is reporting that a decision on PSG defender Stanley N’Soki is expected today.

He reports that sources in France are confident that Newcastle will be able to seal the deal for the 20-year-old.

N’Soki is still keen to join Newcastle and even is said to be happy to work with Steve Bruce. He also is reportedly really excited to play in front of Newcastle’s fans.

It seems the holdup is still the contract demands of the player which Newcastle have thus far balked at. There is no indication if the player’s demands are outrageous or if Newcastle have not offered a competitive deal in this report.

Recent reports from France had that N’Soki considered the wages offered to be “low ball”. We certainly hope that Newcastle can either conclude this deal today or move on to another target.

Though Musgrove does state that sources in France are positive that a deal can be reached. It seems that PSG are wanting is concluded very quickly in case they need to start finding a new club for the player if it does fall through.

With Matt Ritchie looking to miss the Arsenal game due to his hamstring injury, the squad is very short in the left wing-back position. While Paul Dummett is a natural full-back and Ciaran Clark can also cover the position, both are not wing-backs.

It would be a shame to have to alter the formation that Steve Bruce has used this pre-season for the game against Arsenal due to an injury. Though he may have a plan and we could see that against St-Etienne on Saturday.

Regardless, Newcastle need to get some depth in this squad and they have just one week to do it.

This is just me but dont the rest of you get the feeling all the boycotting and protesting is all for nothing??

The leech of the club just doesnt care, he is sheltered from all this that is thrown his way. Do i think fans should sit idly by why the leech keeps running the club the way he does? No way but i also think its all for nothing. Ashley while looking like an elephant has also the thick skin of an elephant and he can soak all this up that is thrown at him.
    repost

Like ive stated previously im sick of Ashley being the fore front of my mind when thinking of this amazing club, im sick of feeling depressed and angry, full of emotions, head in the shed. So for this season the badge the 11 out on the pitch the squad of 22 will be what i focus on, there opinions and how they feel will be what i care about, the performance week and week out will be what i focus on and care about.

I got into football and fell in love with the sport i love watching all levels of football from school footy to sunday league to all standards of league football all the way to the supposed top of the pile Newcastle United which i should get excited for but i havent been for one reason Mike Fcuking Ashley, well that stops now.

So Jib the bloke who’s called the mag and its writers worse than shite for several years is now sharing their articles saying well done.

This is despite abusing other posters and giving them grief for promoting another blog if they posted links to the mag.

The lies and the snake like levels the bloke won’t stoop to are yet to be discovered.

N’Soki’s agents are the Mayuma brothers and
Stanley is the only top drawer player they have.
It looks like there is a bit of silliness in the wage demands.

If there’s one club that won’t be bullied on wages it’s NUFC

Newcastle set to make major transfer breakthrough within 48 hours

NEWCASTLE are set to make a major transfer breakthrough over the next few days as Steve Bruce prepares for the new Premier League season.
Newcastle boss Steve Bruce is looking to prove his doubters wrong by continuing the good work done by Rafa Benitez at St. James’ Park.

The former Sheffield Wednesday manager has received praise from his new players as they prepare for their opening day clash against Arsenal.

The Toon have already broken their transfer record during the current window by signing Joelinton from Hoffenheim for around £40million.
However, reports suggest that their business won’t end there, with another deal set to reach the final stages over the next few days.
It’s understood one deal could be all but done over the next 48 hours, with the mystery man set to come in just a week before transfer deadline day.

Newcastle have been heavily linked with Rangers captain James Tavernier in recent days, while Ciaran Clark has been linked with an outgoing deal.

Bruce has since shut down both rumours by saying: “That’s not going to happen at the moment,” when asked if Clark will leave.

“We’re playing with three centre-backs and with [Florian] Lejeune injured we’ll only have four so I don’t think that’s going to happen.

“I explained the situation to Ciaran and he understood that totally.”

Bruce went on to say that he wasn’t sure where the Tavernier rumours have come from, and shut down talk that a deal is in the pipeline.

He added: ”I really don’t know where that came from and I hate it when people talk abut my players so I’m not going to comment on anybody else’s.”

“I’m never going to speak about any player until the deal is done so I really can’t comment on that.”

When asked what position he would most like to strengthen before the window closes, for former Manchester United defender chose a forward.

“We want to add one of two in the striker positions,” he said.

“Scoring the goal is the biggest challenged.

“Win you a match, get you off your feet.”

JIB and his various alts JIBS have an agenda
It’s to defend Jabba no matter what
It’s the voice of KBA passed off as ordinary fans

The fact they post here is enough proof you should need that Jabba is bothered by what the fans might do

In retail you are vulnerable to bad PR hence all the effort he goes to when the protests are televised

    Stanley N Soki.
Never watched him to be honest.
Is he an attacking FB suited to the LWB role.

    Apparently he is quick.
Does he get forward. When he does get there can he actually cross a ball.
    Many actually can’t.

I will never make the mistake again of imagining anyone else being our owner. Support the team not the regime and hope and pray that the day Ashley will be gone is sooner rather than later because this club lived before him and will outlive the fatman. The most important aspect in all this is the club and nothing more.

Can i ask a question to the people on the blog.

If we have say a succesful season at Newcastle standards say top ten and maybe a good cup run with success around the pitch with say Joelinton doing well a scoring 10 plus goals and the rest chipping in and say we might look more of an attacking threat.

Would you be angry and p!ssed that say we didnt get relegated or brush with relegation?? Would you be p!ssed that we had a succesful season and didnt match up to your assumptions that we would struggle.

Would you genuinely be p!ssed with this outcome?

It’s called apathy. Look it up. Just saying “there’s nothing we can do” is just pathetic.

Honestly if you’re going to fund Ashley, don’t go crying about him not releasing transfer funds or getting shoddy second rate managers in or wailing about his tactics or having a useless squad that doesn’t try or not winning a cup or fielding weakened teams in competitions or never winning a league in your lifetime or we’re never going back to Europe etc etc. Just don’t.

As it stands no i cant say they would finish top 10. I do believe we will sign more players before the window is out, even tho there is slight skepticism that they will sign anyone. But i am a logical person thats how i work most things out in my life and it doesnt make sense to sign someone for 40 mill and not strengthen other required areas. So time will tell and if we do sign say a LB a winger another striker of good quality then yes i do believe they can finish top 10. I think we have a good squad of players just a few good players short of having a decent team and a few more players of having good squad depth.

Your turn to answer my question.

Would you be dissapointed if we did have a good season?

Mund there’s no point because you have to get there first. Did we get tenth because despite being deliberately underfunded results went our way, we had few injuries, the legacy of Benitezs defensive training paid off you’d have to say hmm let’s see what next season brings before we shoot this down. Fine. But will we win a cup? “Doing well” in a cup is still not winning one. Will we challenge the top of the table? Will we get in Europe? Yes we might get tenth, but we might get it for the last 12 years. And we also might get relegation, this we have also done

Here’s a question back – if we get relegated and win nothing this year with a cynically underfunded squad, will this make you any less apathetic about Mike Ashley’s continuing stranglehold than the last decade has?
