Report – Newcastle To Tie Up Deal For Dutch Left-Back Today

Lee Ryder is reporting that Newcastle United are trying to tie up a deal for Jetro Willems today according to Dutch sources.

We had done a report earlier this morning about how the player was very unsettled and that his agents were looking for a move for him. He had also been linked with Newcastle earlier this summer.

The comments Willems made in the German outlet Bild were very recent and he seemingly will be thrilled with a move to Newcastle. This move, however, may end up spelling the end of the N’Soki deal to Tyneside.

There are no reports of what the fee is but we would imagine it to be in the £5m range. So if this move happens, it will be for about half of the N’Soki fee. This one has kind of come out of the blue but Willems should be a decent addition to the squad.

Must he coming in place soki, guess the theory of going french only is killed off quick. Have to say if we get these deals complete with a couple of more youngsters it will have been a surprisingly good window

    Listen we are starting now.
We understand this could be a 10 year war.
If we had of started properly 5 years ago we would be half way through that 10 year war.

Even if it takes 2 years for the match going fans to realise hold on a minute nothing is going change under ashley.
By then we will have a well run ready made war machine. Our numbers are growing everyday, be part of it.
Join us at the magpie group.
We will tale your fight to ashley.

The football world will be on St James’ Park when Newcastle play Arsenal in the opening game of their PL campaign. This is the best opportunity we have ever had to make the rest of the world aware of  the issues at Newcastle United. It is particularly unique due to the problems Mike Ashley is having in his other businesses at this time.

Therefore, we are encouraging all NUFC fans to boycott the Arsenal game on the 11th of August. More information about the plans for the boycott can be found here:

    https://gallery.mailchimp.com/44e912dfbb041b6185bbc82ce/images/a52b1e7d-0ff2-44ca-a38b-fcd4aa39dcee.jpg

    Volunteer

In advance of the boycott WE NEED YOUR HELP. We want to get the message out to as many people as possible. Many fans don’t have access to social media. We are looking for volunteers to:

    1. Pick up some flyers/posters we have made available to put into Newcastle pubs/clubs in your local area. If you are able to do this please meet us at 3pm THIS SATURDAY outside Sports Direct on Northumberland street to collect and distribute.

    2. Phone some friends. Let them know that you won’t be attending and encourage them to do the same. Even better arrange to meet them in one of the venues that  have a special deal as part of the #supportourtoon campaign.

    3. Talk about it at work. Word of mouth is really powerful. Get the message out there!

    4. We are always looking for people to help us with our campaigns. Do you have any skills you can offer? If so tell us how using the link below:

    5. Most importantly: BOYCOTT and join the PROTEST

    Thanks for your support

Genjikai – if the fans haven’t figured out that Ashley is a blight to our club in the past ten years, what makes you think it’ll suddenly click in the next two years? There’s just going to be people who go to the games no matter how bad Mike is. That’s just the way it is!

Not a bad signing. Anyone who will get Paul Dummett out of the team will do. Still need Harry Wilson, Bowen, Marega, Lemina and Ballotelli to compete.

Contrary to their claims, the anti boycott brigade are actually the most outspokenly vitriolic bullies on this blog. Constantly deriding any who voice dissatisfaction or promote active protest. Name calling, labelling of “collectives” as if they are some kind of harmful renegade pogrom. Apathy is commonly misconstrued as being feeble and inactive – we… Nope! There is active, enthusiastic ridiculing of the effort to do something about Ashley. Constant unrelenting derision of posters as fools and blog warriors.

We should test Norwich with a bid for Max Aarons to play at right back. We also have the advantage (although it could actually be a disadvantage) of having his cousin Rolando at our club.

Not everyone has energy for war, let alone a long one. I dare say MA has a healthy appetite for battle and has already started by the looks of it – if he spends big on a number of exciting players a lot of fans will give up the fight to see what this new team are all about.

If they do OK or even well then Rafa will be old news and it will be deemed that MA has turned a corner.

Football is an escape from the everyday stress for most of us and if MA injects a little bit of hope then he has taken the legs out from under us before we have even got started.

    Just my opinion from afar………..

I really believe this boycott movement (if you can call it that) is an embarrassment. The 11th minute “walk-in” was an embarrassment. The Wolves on-again-off-again protest that didn’t happen was an embarrassment. The 18 people who turned up at Sports Direct last week (I counted the legs on the photo) was an embarrassment.

You lot do not speak for all NUFC fans, even though you are pompous enough to think you do.

I would like Mike Ashley out if we have a better alternative, but flyers and leaflets aren’t going to do it. He is a dictator. He does what he wants.

Less than 2,000 will go on the march but The Collective will claim thousands more because they passed out the flyers.

Scythe, didn’t see that one about Joel’s mam but whoever’s responsible this time has really given it some effort. Contrary to earlier reports, it appears Willems won’t be signing for “House of Fraser FC” after all, but has in fact signed for “Ashley Out FC” instead…

Willems is good in that he can actually cross a ball which is kind of crucial when you play get into advanced areas with the ball in a 352 !

Wouldn’t say he is rapid but has decent pace

The line this could be a 10 year war rattles me. For one would you seriously fight the fight for another 10 years if he was still here? Wouldnt you of lost hope that it could even be done by 5 years? The worse of all is imagining Ashley is till here in 10 years ugh ill be coming up to my 50th birthday i hope and pray he is well gone before that.

I love the enthusiasm with the groups and the determination of removing Ashley but like ive said previously i think its a lost cause i dont think there is near enough numbers to make an effect if at all there is such a number because i dont think it would bother Ashley he doesnt care one bit. He is a ruthless man and had abuse all his working life and none of that has deterred him.

    Scythe

Club1872 the Rangers group didn’t go down well at the start, it took 14months to get real numbers on board.

They own shares in their club now, different clubs same problem, SD and Ashley.

If both clubs fans and the Cities unite that’s a lot of folk with one voice causing trouble for the fat man and his shareholders.

Fans need to realise we have the power, Ashley can’t control the atmosphere in the ground or outside we can.

No one wants a negative atmosphere in Newcastle or the ground, it’s not originating with the fans or the fans groups its born of Ashley’s neglect of the ground training ground Stadium squad and fans.

Enough is enough, stop the rot.

I commend all that put in the time and effort in all these groups i really do you all have my respect but for one i dont have anywhere near enough time in my life to commit to something of this magnitude. If i did id try like everyone who is involved is but id still think to myself its going to do no good and in the end would of lost hope.

Im not saying its pointless because it isnt but i dont think anyone will get the outcome they want out of this

I think Gengikai’s heart is the right place but talk of a 10 year WAR against Ashley is a bit over the top and wrongheaded. Hopefully him and JFA can have a lovechild/twins and call them Tsunki and Lesh.

Tsunki will be the boring one with glasses who thinks he is funny and such a card, and Lesh will be the even more boring one who is aggressive to everyone, including his hamster.
