Young Goalkeeper To Go On Loan To Blyth Spartans

Newcastle United have sent 20-year-old goalkeeper Nathan Harker on loan to play under Lee Clark at Blyth Spartans.

The loan is only until January 2020 and he will hopefully get some first-team action. Blyth play in the National League North which is the sixth tier of English football.

Nathan was one of a handful of youngsters who trained with the first-team when the team returned for pre-season earlier this year. He may have been sent out on loan so new signing Jake Turner can see the majority of action for the U23s to start the season.

We wish Nathan the best of luck and we’re sure he will be well looked after by Lee Clark.

No one is asking people to do anything other than boycott Arsenal and join in a march to the ground, its a hour of your life.

Our policy on players is back to the days of Carr buying cheap prospests on long contracts
    Jabba sells for huge profits
If they turn out to be duds the club picks up the wage bill

    Jabba cant lose

Kimbo makes a great point we are giving him publicity and within that promoting his beloved brand SD.

I hope im totally wrong and what happens with the movement and protests does exactly what is required and i said if i could id be involved but my life is far to busy and i dont live in Newcastle so its not as easy as popping round the corner. What also worries me was i cant remember who posted it but he was talking to a guy another fan who was a ST owner and he hated Ashley but knew nothing about any groups or any movement against Ashley or about any boycott. How many thousands of fans are like him and say dont use social media and have no idea about these things?

Understand a medical has been provisionally booked for Jetro Willems. Personal terms agreed. Would be a loan with option to buy. Negotiations ongoing on fee.

Did I mention I disagree with the boycott because it will not work, and Ashley is a dictator and it will create a bad atmosphere. And less than 2,000 will do the march, but will pass out fliers and claim that many more were involved.

I doubt if they will even stay at SJP past 1.30 for the Arsenal match as getting to the barstools for the cheap drinks will be more important.

I’ve seen him several times, my mates half French and that’s his side.

His dribbling tricks and running with the ball is a sight to behold, even when he seems to have lost it he’ll end up still having the ball.

You’d hate to play 5 a side with him.

He doesn’t have a footballing brain, doesnt pass when he should, shoots from miles out, isn’t very direct and likes to show boat which gives the opposition time to get back.

If I was Bruce and he was given to me I’d consider playing him upfront, he is allergic to tracking back and he’s better off out the way. I reckon he’d cause mayhem upfront, may not score many but defenders would be terrified to go near him.

My mate reckons he’s a workie ticket, what I’ve seen he has real talent and a really good coach and man manager could turn him into a real player, or he could waste his talent.

I wouldn’t have signed him as I dont think he’s a what we need in the side, he’s going to be a marmite player for sure.

    Time will tell.

All protesting achieves imo is re-enforce all of the lazy stereotypes regarding our fanbase. Being entitled and having a ‘Big Club’ complex. Yes we are very badly run but we’re not the only badly run club…We’ve bleated on about where is the money for years and how we haven’t broken our record signing. Thats been oblitterated two windows in a row, with seemingly more to follow.

Every close season we just implode as a fan base, its like brexit, people just stewing things over in their head constantly, hearing and seeing loads of absolute garbage in the media and letting it fuel the fire even more.

It is pretty normal with PL teams and their managers / head coaches these days to not be particularly active in transfers. I mean did anyone see the interview with Poch earlier this week?

Anyway I rarely post and no doubt will get a load of abuse but I’m pretty optimistic for this season, especially if we get a few more bodies in – looking like an exciting attack, haven’t seen that kind of pace in attacking areas since Dyer and Bellamy.

We are supposed to be a small club, Talksport talk about us more than any other club, Sky also talk about us more than the clubs outside of the top 6. We are news that gets listeners and viewers and more publicity for Ashley, why would he sell?

With the shit SD is going through at the minute the last thing Ashley wants is thousands of fans calling for his head outside one of his stores.

The bad publicity he and his true love SD are getting from all quarters is great, he’s being seen for what he is, now is the perfect time to throw another straw on that camels back.

Frog: I have made enough money that I don’t have to work full time and have been watching the cricket from very early Chicago time for the last 6 weeks. The WC started at 4.30 am. I would watch 6 hours of it and then had to have a nap. it threw off my body clock and now we have the Ashes.

As I said. Luckily, I don’t have to work full time.

    Not a conspiracy Froggy.

Aye i feel the same but would be a huge statement of intent if they say went and shot a bid in for Wilson and i dont understand why they dont. Look at Joelinton he was £40 mil with the purpose of selling him on for more well Wilson for £25 mil is a steal and would pick up a bigger profit than Joelinton. We all know the money is there and it can be done.

Regarding Willems – didn’t he suffer a very serious leg injury about 2-3 seasons ago?

He was reportedly very close to Wijnaldum and considered coming here that January but didn’t happen and then we were relegated. He then was badly injured. Timing of this might be a bit out of order.

Anyway, the injury was quite bad and this is why he kind of disappeared form the radar screens and ended up in Germany last season. Hopefully if he is coming to us that he is now fully recovered especially mentally/confidence wise.

I totally agree with you if theres any time to do it the time is now i do feel he is a bit rattled with all the going ons in his life and he can be done without the chew of it all. I have a slight hope it will work and lets say for one it does and he drops his price and we get bought out, who is to say we wont get somebody worse? Would people prefer Staveley or Kenyon? neither of these could come up with the money are these the type of owners we want? Would all fans accept anyone else but Ashley?

The football world will be on St James’ Park when Newcastle play Arsenal in the opening game of their PL campaign. This is the best opportunity we have ever had to make the rest of the world aware of the issues at Newcastle United. It is particularly unique due to the problems Mike Ashley is having in his other businesses at this time.
Therefore, we are encouraging all NUFC fans to boycott the Arsenal game on the 11th of August. More information about the plans for the boycott can be found here:
    https://gallery.mailchimp.com/44e912dfbb041b6185bbc82ce/images/a52b1e7d-0ff2-44ca-a38b-fcd4aa39dcee.jpg

    Volunteer
In advance of the boycott WE NEED YOUR HELP. We want to get the message out to as many people as possible. Many fans don’t have access to social media. We are looking for volunteers to:
    1. Pick up some flyers/posters we have made available to put into Newcastle pubs/clubs in your local area. If you are able to do this please meet us at 3pm THIS SATURDAY outside Sports Direct on Northumberland street to collect and distribute.
    2. Phone some friends. Let them know that you won’t be attending and encourage them to do the same. Even better arrange to meet them in one of the venues that have a special deal as part of the #supportourtoon campaign.
    3. Talk about it at work. Word of mouth is really powerful. Get the message out there!
    4. We are always looking for people to help us with our campaigns. Do you have any skills you can offer? If so tell us how using the link below:

    https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfFP9J3tgF8UzbuK8fbvK_XV2d6hsFN1cqMdMSQdvvgQI1Mfw/viewform?usp=pp_url
    5. Most importantly: BOYCOTT and join the PROTEST
    Thanks for your support
    The Magpie Group
    **********************************************************
    Now that’s more like it.
Can I suggest that everyone who is going to support the boycott speaks, texts or e mails at least 5 supporters they know.
    Ask for their support.
If St Max is signed that’s a spend of 25M.
35M to go for the promised 50M plus 11M surplus from last season.

    Don’t go back.
I’ll tell you what his problem is.
Does not fit into any particular position.
FB – Not good enough at crossing or getting forward, the modern way.
CB – Not tall enough, not good enough defending.
MF – First touch not good enough. Range of passing not good enough.

Attitude. Seems like a pain in the arse.

    Tony,
I doubt anyone truly believes you pretend to live in Chicago, nor do they care – same goes for the 1000s of jibs that are on here. They are just using it to wind you up because you have a short fuse, and it seems to work. The very kafkaesque inanity of it is meant to drive you to tipping point and it does. And if you are thinking of relocating, have you considered Dinnington. I hear they have nice weather, haha.
