Two Of Our Loan Boys Get Winning Debuts

Freddie Woodman started his Swansea City loan spell in fine fashion with a start in their 2-1 win against Hull City in the Championship. Freddie just joined Swansea on Thursday but has been able to get his chance at first-team football.

Dan Barlaser also got a start for Rotherham United as the League One club were able to start their campaign with a 1-2 victory at Wimbledon. He lasted sixty-nine minutes before being substituted.

This is a very good start for both youngsters at their respective new clubs. Let’s hope they can continue to develop and get the first-team experience they need.

Almiron actually offers a lot up front in winning thr ball, dragging defenders, and makes very clever runs… Just needs to find the net, and he will very soon then watch the goals start to flow

I hope Gayle plays well any chance he gets. Let’s see how it goes.

Saw the Equa.ls – (and Eddy Grant) in the Domino Club at Bedlington Station (used to be the Wallaw cinema) in the late 60’s

I think it’s clear Bruce will keep with a 352 formation and is classing Almiron, ASM, Muto, Gayle & Joelinton as our strikers. That means we will see either Almiron or ASM on the bench as Joelinton has one place tied up.

What else do we have to offer at forward. Maximini. Can Aarons regain form and contribute? It’s and interesting question. This is probably his last chance with us. Still only 23. Turns 24 in November I think. I can’t believe it. He seems to have been around for ages.
