Flavien Tresarrieu, a journalist for L’Equipe, has sent out the following tweet about Newcastle’s right-back target Emil Krafth.
Emil Krafth à Newcastle, ce n'est pas encore fait. Amiens discute toujours avec deux clubs anglais, dont les Magpies. #mercato #Amiens
— Flavien Trésarrieu (@ftresarrieu) August 4, 2019
He has translated his tweet for us in response to a question.
Newcastle are discussing with Amiens about a transfer but no signature yet. Another English club is trying to get the player.
— Flavien Trésarrieu (@ftresarrieu) August 4, 2019
Le 11 Amienois also share the same information in the linked article below that another Premier League club is now trying to get the player. The article says that Emil Krafth will definitely leave Amiens this summer and it looks like he may go to the highest bidder. Amiens are currently holding out for £6.3m for the Swedish international according to the French article.

— Le 11 Amiénois (@le11Amienois) August 4, 2019
There is no information on which other club are suddenly in for the 25-year-old but it now looks like Newcastle will have some competition for their top remaining target. Newcastle have reportedly offered more than double the amount that Amiens paid for Krafth in their recently rejected bid of £4.5m. It looks like Amiens are looking to get triple the amount they paid a little over a month ago.
It does appear that there will be a lot more to surface on this as now even press in Sweden are reporting that Krafth will leave Amiens for Newcastle. Though, they are referencing the reports from France earlier today.

Comment #83Tsunki: there is a massive difference between saying I want to run over an avatar (froggy) and Dubious Mickey saying to firebomb Sport Direct shops. Which are actual places, like. And avatars are little cartoony things on the internet.

That’s the other thing it was looking like Perez was finally playing to his potential and I think if he was playing with the pace we have in the team and with Joelington up front I think he would get lots of goals as there would be more chances created!
Sometimes when we were really defensive under Rafa he looked poor because teams were putting 2 players on him and he isn’t physical enough once we went to 3 at the back and got more people around him and created chances he looked good and I think Leicester will certainly get the benefit of Rafas coaching and he will get 12 or 15 goals easily for them if he plays most of the season!

Perez did well in the final few months thanks to almiron and rondon mainly, they were seen as the main threats and he exposed it well. I think he will do well at Leicester but we got the better deal.
It’s still to early for ASM but almiron as a no10 is more natural in that position

I believe you, I also find your claims to be plausible, but even if you were being a bit of a Walter Mitty it doesn’t excuse the bile being chucked at you.
A lot of it being from they same hypocrites who were wittering on about some poor helpless blogger being bullied last night.
I just find the blog totally exasperating at times, I’m pretty sure that when we do finally get rid of Ashlie, they’ll find something else to moan about and other reasons for tearing bloggers apart.

Comment #89Perez is a super player. Runs well with the ball, brilliant fiirst touch, getting stronger, improving as a finisher, and presses so well. Rafa loved him and rightly so. I said before that he could play for City and look ok. I still stand by that.

Comment #92Our preferred front 3 has a ton of pace, skill and potential, however they have an average age of 23, ten EPL games between them and no EPL goals. In reserve we have Muto, Gayle, Murphy, Atsu and Aarons. I really do think we are taking quite a typical Ashley risk.

Comment #93I think I would be OK with the transfer window closing now. TODAY. I am more worried that Ashley will do something stupid like helicoptering Longstaff to Man U than I am about not getting a backup right back.

Good evening mate, just want to clarify a point, I don’t do curses. They have a nasty habit of backfiring and I don’t wish harm on anyone no matter how odious they might be.
It is possible however your Voodoo and my Magic Sigil did have the result you mentioned as a request to the higher energy’s sometimes happens in unexpected ways and if the financial crisis for SD helps to make him sell up then so be it. A possible win for the fans we hope!

Comment #95I agree EGB it gets silly at times. Do they ever read their comments back, all the name calling it’s just so childish. It’s ok when it’s not serious stuff. You can have a laugh. Then it gets out of hand. Anyway pleased with the signings do far.

Comment #96Munster: did you watch Miggy in the Copa America against some very good players? I watched him a few times for Atlanta in MLS and he was by far the best player in a sh!t league. That’s why it is hard to judge but he raised the performances of every player in a B & W shirt when he came in last year. He will score and he will assist. He is a very good player.

Comment #97Hi essex bill, i wont apologise for testing toon 22 ‘s total lack of connection with the club. He’ s an arrogant sod backed up by a bunch of arrogant sods who thought they could shout down genuine fans with a different opinion. Thats not going to happen. Not with a munster man. 🙂

Comment #98I reckon the big surprise this season for us could be Muto, he looked very sharp on Saturday and was unlucky not to score, I’d be tempted to have him down as TS in the Martoon predictions.
Shelvey is another I expect to see more goals from he has a wicked shot on him and that free kick Saturday would have had the commentators having orgasms had it gone in.

Comment #101Yeah, I agree Bill, Muto has good movement and technical ability, and can finish. He needs that bit of confidence that more time on the pitch and the trust of the manager would give.
I think a well run Newcastle would typically have a group of forwards like Rondon, Joelinton, Perez, Almirón, St Max, Muto and Murphy.
