Reports – Deal For International Right-Back Looks Very Close

There is a report coming out of France that Newcastle will complete a deal for SC Amiens right-back Emil Krafth this week.

The above tweet translates to:

Swede Emil Krafth To Sign With Newcastle

The article in the Courrier picard claims that an initial offer of €1.5m was rejected but that further progress was made over the weekend. It does not give any details on an agreed fee but does say that Krafth will leave the French club for Newcastle. It also details how Amiens will now look for further recruits to replace Krafth.

Krafth was left out of Amiens final preseason friendly against Leganes and the French article claims that he has returned to Sweden.

However, the Sun’s Alan Nixon has followed up with some contacts and denied that the deal is done yet.

We do think Newcastle are pushing to get Emil Krafth in but that there is further work to be done. It does look like the player really wants to come and the fact that he was not involved at all in the final preseason friendly does lead us to believe that a deal may be close.

The report from France seems certain that Krafth will sign with Newcastle this week while the follow up from Alan Nixon says it is not quite done yet. But Krafth does seem to be the main target at the moment.

Let’s face it anyone is an improvement on Yedlin, absolutely clueless at the art of defending. Actually feeling a lot more hopeful but as we all know it’s going to be another difficult season ahead. HWTL

Every time City win a trophy I can’t help but think that could have been us… If only Shepherd could have waited 1 more season before he sold it to the most disastrous thing that has happened to NUFC in modern history. The only thing that stops me from spewing is that City probably deserve it more, having to watch Man United dominate for so long.. If thag was Sunderland I think I would have packed it all in!

This isn’t the type of signing a club makes to become better, hardly inspiring to say the least. Why can’t we spend some serious money on a serious upgrade,we’ve got the money so why go for a krap fth.

Can’t believe the transfer window closes this Thursday and the season starts up again on Friday. The summer break flies by so quickly.

Got that mix of excitement and dread at the same time, thanks to Mike. Cheers Mike.

Online Guy – even if either of those scenarios actually happened, I doubt it would effect us. He’s going to hold onto our club by the ballsack for as long as humanly possible. Like I’ve said before, we’re an easy source of money for him. Plus he gets all that lovely advertising for his quality merchandise too.

Folks, when are you going to realise the Frog is just a wum? Whether he’s a fan or not is irrelevant. All he’s here to do is wind people up. Stop answering him and he’ll get fed up and leave.

I do shift work and pop on half a dozen times a day or night max to check the news. By God there are so many argumentative idiots on here and people whom it’s seems as if their whole lives revolve around the place. Get a life folks.

    According to the BBC:
Virgil van Dijk was dribbled past for the first time in his last 65 competitive appearances (by Gabriel Jesus) for Liverpool, since Mikel Merino did so for Newcastle in March 2018.

    Enter Allan Saint-Maximin…

A week later and Ashley and SD received a Tax Bill for 605 million pounds .

I will be announcing another Voodoo Doll session and be asking Bill to cast the next spell.

If this happens then I would assume Yedlin will be leaving. Manquillo offers more to the side and can provide cover on the left if needed.

Yedlin is pace and that’s it. I don’t mind him but he’s the weakest link in the 5 at the back.

Assuming Kraft signs, who’s not making the 25 man squad. Yedlin, Colback, Saivet and Lazaar seem likely.
