Reports – Deal For International Right-Back Looks Very Close

There is a report coming out of France that Newcastle will complete a deal for SC Amiens right-back Emil Krafth this week.

The above tweet translates to:

Swede Emil Krafth To Sign With Newcastle

The article in the Courrier picard claims that an initial offer of €1.5m was rejected but that further progress was made over the weekend. It does not give any details on an agreed fee but does say that Krafth will leave the French club for Newcastle. It also details how Amiens will now look for further recruits to replace Krafth.

Krafth was left out of Amiens final preseason friendly against Leganes and the French article claims that he has returned to Sweden.

However, the Sun’s Alan Nixon has followed up with some contacts and denied that the deal is done yet.

We do think Newcastle are pushing to get Emil Krafth in but that there is further work to be done. It does look like the player really wants to come and the fact that he was not involved at all in the final preseason friendly does lead us to believe that a deal may be close.

The report from France seems certain that Krafth will sign with Newcastle this week while the follow up from Alan Nixon says it is not quite done yet. But Krafth does seem to be the main target at the moment.

Oh and Jane/Jib, I was sceptical before, but now I’m not.

Incidentally, we also think you’re Justin Barnes btw.

And finally, all I have ever done is pass on what i hear, don’t worry, it’ll never happen again, this blog is too toxic, after the incessant bullying, who can blame genuine and decent posters for leaving. #Itsjustnotworththeaggro

Asm’s interaction with fans on Twitter is brilliant. Humbled an arsenal fan today and when he found out his shirt was snatched off a lad, has asked fans to find out who it was so he can get them one of shirts. He’s going to be a fans favourite.

Popped on this afternoon for a quick look. There was a bit of an argument going on about the use of the word Mag.

Now to be honest I hesitated for a second while making my moniker all those years ago but not wanting to think too much about it and really only wanting to complain about something or other I though “that’ll do”. Completely get the notion that it is a term used often outside Newcastle but think it is making a resurgence. I for one am quite glad of that as I like the term myself.

And it’s getting to the point where there is more posters to skip on here than to read. Why not ignore those whose life is consumed with the wind-up.

    Yeh i agree

But he is under pressure from so many sides it not going to take much to topple him over

In the end we will be taken from him,one way or another

He can do it he easy way or the hard way.

Would rather see Djibril Sidibe signed than this Swedish right back. Sidibe can play right and left back. World cup winner. We must go in for Mario Lemina. I’d offer Hayden in a swap deal with Lemia. Lemina is valued at £15.4m It’s a no brainer to sign him, Harry Wilson and Jarrod Bowen. We also need a goalscorer. Marega fits the bill. We still have £67.5m to spend. Sign:

    Lemina – £15m
    Bowen – £15m
    Harry Wilson – £20m
    Marega – £25m
    Sturridge/Ballotelli/Carroll – Free

    Total = £75m

    Sell:

    Hayden – £15m
    Colback – £1m
    Clark – £7m
    Dummett – £8m
    Gayle – £17m
    Murphy – Loan
    Elliot – £3m

    Total = £50m

Who do you fancy coming back as or do you have a current alter ego to fall back to and regroup? Oh dear this is fun! 😀 I doubt your new chuckle buddy Felonious can haul you out of this chunky soup.

I want to get to Thursday where pundits are predicting us to have a good season and finish in the top 6. We need more ambition and shouldn’t be trying to sign average right backs who are worse than we’ve got. I’d rather have Janmaat back.

Ashley will never topple over… too many people will take the wrap for him. He will never feel pressured to sell the club, which will mean he will never sell. The only way this club will be passed on is when he passes.

I understand those that need to try to do something and see boycotting as one of only a few options available. Though I’m just not convinced boycotting games is going to do a lot of good, as everybody who follows football already know NUFC supporters cant stand Ashley, its not telling anybody anything they don’t already know. Matchday revenue isn’t a big enough slice of the overall income pie to make a significant difference to him he’ll just spend even less of the clubs money, in his mind there is no such thing as negative PR, he has zero emotional intelligence and simply doesn’t care what other people think or want.

I would love to agree with the opinion that if you don’t enjoy it just stop supporting and I really applaud those that can, but presumably 90% of people live breath and sleep NUFC and that void realistically cant be easily filled elsewhere, you can try to not to care and slowly become emotionally numb to it, but its still bottled up somewhere inside, which is heavy and not healthy weight to carry.

Support the team that represents your city, look forward to the day he leaves but enjoy the ‘football’ as much as possible (you only live once and sadly its Ashley’s choice when he leaves) make the players proud to represent the shirt and let the people close to you see you smile and dream again. The world will quickly see how much football means to the Geordie nation and the positivity it can bring. The rich men of the world will see the potential of the club, dream about the obvious difference they can make by running the club properly and believe they can reap the acclaim by finally waking this sleeping giant. Hopefully input from the tax authorities will help to speed this process along.

Sadly there is no right nor wrong action to take, just many people all wanting the same outcome but seeing different paths to get there. I just hope whichever choice people do make they are making it because they choose to and not because they feel compelled to by Ashley. Don’t give the parasite the ultimate satisfaction by letting him control you too.

    All pretty much correct
Except I didn’t meet the Stones
They were signing in at the 5 Bridges while
    I was floating around reception
The equity card thing was when I was dropping
Jimmy and Sammy at the writers club in Nelson St
    opposite the Pineapple
They were trying to get as many Geordies as possible into acting
They got Paul Tucker and a couple of others into it but I wasn’t interested
